Justin Allgaier has five top-ten finishes in NASCAR Xfinity Series action this year but has yet to win. He did win this race two years ago and finished as the runner-up in 2019. He has three top-five finishes in his last four trips to Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He has the history here to expect a win, and his recent form has been solid as well. A.J. Allmendinger makes his Indianapolis Motor Speedway debut as part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series. When he was driving in the Cup Series, this was not a great place for him. However, he has won two of his last six starts in the Xfinity Series and has an average finish of 3.0 in his last three starts overall. Justin Haley did not do well at Pocono Raceway, but he did win down in Talladega, and he has five top-six finishes in his last ten races. His consistency has brought him the points to stay in the playoff chase within the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He finished fifth last year in his Indianapolis Motor Speedway debut. Ross Chastain has been racing well lately, getting that runner-up finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono last weekend, and he has three straight top-three finishes, part of four top-five finishes in his last seven starts. He offers a ton of value given that recent form. Noah Gragson now is in second place in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driver’s championship and has four top-five finishes in the last six races. He made his Indianapolis Motor Speedway debut in 2019 — and came in third. Myatt Snider came in sixth in the European driver’s championship, in a league that did just did road races in stock cars. He never came in first in any of the races, but he did build up a lot of experience getting behind the wheel of a stock car for a road race. Riley Herbst came in second at an ARCA race at Road America, back in 2017. Can he show similar form on this road course? Jeremy Clements had the win at Road America three years ago, dumping the leader in the race’s last lap. He has a solid career in road racing. Alex Labbe won the 2017 NASCAR Canada series. He made the most of his points at oval races, but he averaged a 5.0 finish at road races that season. He has six road races as part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, cracking the top 20 each time and averaging a result of 13.0. Chase Briscoe won at the Roval, but it helped that he could forfeit stage points since he was a part time driver. He did nail the corners, though, in his debut on that track.
