NASCAR 2019 Digital Ally 400 Odds & Preview

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series moves to Kansas Speedway for this week’s installment: the 2019 Digital Ally 400. Kevin Harvick returns as the defending champion, and he has five consecutive top-10 finishes on this track. This is the fourth race of the season that has the 550 horsepower rules package with aero ducts, so the drivers should be getting used to the differences by now. We have the somewhat unusual event of a night race in NASCAR, as the action begins at 7:30pm Eastern time. We have your driver odds as well as NASCAR betting suggestions for your wager cards.

Kevin Harvick

is not only the defending champion but also has five top-five finishes in his last 10 races overall. He has never finished worse than third at the Digital Ally 400 and has seven top-three finishes in his last 11 races at the Kansas Speedway. Even with all of this success, he still has yet to win a race. Given how close he’s been lately and how solid his record is at this racetrack. He’s definitely due, so consider him in your wagers.

Kyle Busch

had a disappointing finish last week, at least according to his standards, as he finally failed to finish in the top 10. However, he has not had two subpar races in a row in just about a year. He is the 2016 champion of the Digital Ally 400, and he has six top-five finishes in his last eight races on this track. Overall, he has four wins on this track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series to go along with his success here, as well as two wins in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, so he’s worth considering too.

Martin Truex Jr.

has been in a bit of a cold spell lately, cracking the top 10 just one time in his last five starts overall. However, he is the 2017 champion of the Digital Ally 400, and he has drawn the checkered flag in two of his last four races at Kansas Speedway, averaging a finish of 2.25 over those four races. Can he pick up another 2019 win this weekend? The form and record on this track indicate that he can.

Joey Logano

also had a rough race last week, finishing outside the top five for the first time in his last four races, but Kansas Speedway has been kind to him, as he has three top-five finishes in his last five Digital Ally 400 appearances and eight top-ten finishes in his last 11 races on this track overall. He has won the autumn race at Kansas Speedway twice and also won on this track while racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He’s definitely another smart pick for this week.

Kurt Busch

Looking for a dark horse? He finally won last week; can he pull off the back to back wins? He has never won at Kansas Speedway, but he has five top-ten finishes in his last eight races on this track, including a second place finish at the 2017 Hollywood Casino 400 here. He offers plenty of value given that he won last week, so he’s worth looking at as a wild card.

Brad Keselowski

put up second- and third-place finishes with the 550 horsepoewr rules package with aeroducts, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Auto Club Speedway, respectively, and he’s a regular when it comes to pushing hard in the final lap. Jimmie Johnson did very well in his last race on a 1 ½-mile track (Texas Motor Speedway), winning the pole and leading sixty laps before settling for fifth place, still a season best.
