Calgary heads to Toronto having won six of their last eight, including three of their last five on the road. Bo Levi Mitchell seems to be taking greater control of the offense, now with 1,386 passing yards, seven touchdown passes and five interceptions. The Calgary defense is allowing just 22 points per game and should have the personnel to shut down the Argonauts’ attack. Toronto did win last week but have dropped four of their last six at home. McLeod Bethel-Thompson added to his solid passing stats, and he now has 19 touchdown passes against 11 interceptions. Hamilton at Edmonton

Despite their setback a week ago, Hamilton has still won six of their last eight (although just three of their last six games on the road). Dane Evans will start again at quarterback this week in place of Jeremiah Masoli, and Evans’ ball security has not been the best, as he has posted an 8:9 TD:INT ratio. On the defensive side of the ball, Hamilton has remained solid, permitting just 19.7 points per week thanks to nine sacks from Dylan Wynn. Edmonton has dropped three in a row but has still won four of their last six games at home. Trevor Harris has done a solid job of avoiding turnovers, with a 15:4 TD:INT ratio. The defense is also consistent, permitting just 21.3 points per game. Winnipeg at Montreal

Winnipeg rides in as winners of four of their last five…but as losers of three of their last four road games. Matt Nichols continues to play consistently at quarterback, with 15 touchdowns and just five picks. Winnipeg also has one of the better running games in the CFL, averaging 145.5 yards per game. On defense, the Blue Bombers only permit 19.8 points per game. All of these numbers point to a Blue Bomber win. Montreal has won just three of their last six games, but they have won four of six at home. Vernon Adams has six touchdowns passes in his last four games — but also four interceptions. On the ground, the Alouettes are also solid, picking up 133.3 yards per game. On defense, the Alouettes are slightly more generous, permitting 25 points per game. British Columbia at Ottawa

How on earth are the 2-10 British Columbia Lions a road favorite? They are playing the Ottawa Redblacks, whom they just demolished at home last week, and so this is the other half of the home-and-home series. This would be the first winning streak of any kind that the Lions have had this season if they win — but they have dropped four straight on the road. The BC defense is still permitting 28.9 points per game, but that average came down after allowing just five points a week ago. Ottawa has dropped five in a row overall — and five in a row at home. Dominique Davis is struggling right now, with just one touchdown pass against five interceptions in his last three games.
