The Toronto Blue Jays ride their 12-5 start to the 2018 campaign into Yankee Stadium, hoping to add to their best 17-game record since 2009. The Blue Jays clobbered the Kansas City Royals in a three-game sweep, capping matters off with a 15-5 whipping on Wednesday. The Blue Jays have turned things around dramatically since last year, when they started 4-13 and didn’t pick up their 12th win until May 8. The Yankees split a two-game series with the Miami Marlins, winning the opener 12-1 but then falling in the second game by a 9-1 score. The addition of Giancarlo Stanton has not boosted the Yankees’ lineup as much as the team had hoped; manager Aaron Boone may drop Stanton down the order from third so that he can find his groove. Check out our MLB betting preview for the opener of this four-game set from The Bronx.
