NFL Parlay Picks for Week 6

Written by on October 11, 2017

Now that we’ve had five weeks of regular season action in the NFL, let’s see how many of these outcomes you predicted. Did you see a three-way tie atop the AFC East — with Buffalo, the Jets, and New England all in a deadlock or that Deshaun Watson would look like the second coming of Warren Moon in Houston? Did you think that the Raiders would already have three losses or the Giants would be sitting at 0-5? How about the Rams running out to a 3-2 start? And did you think that nobody in the NFC South would be below .500? Let’s take a look at some NFL betting odds for this week’s games — we’ve picked out a couple of NFL Parlay tickets for you to consider.

NFL Parlay Picks for Week 6

NFL – 2018 SUPERBOWL LII ODDS TO WIN

The Brunch Parlay: Green Bay (-3.5) over Minnesota, Houston (-9.5) over Cleveland

The Packers come to town boasting one of the top offenses in the National Football League. As Tom Brady has struggled a little bit in his age-40 season so far, Aaron Rodgers has looked as terrific as ever. He’s almost impossible to bring down in the pocket, and he’s deadly rolling out in both directions. He completed another magical comeback against Dallas last week, throwing the game-winning touchdown with 11 seconds to go. The running game is still iffy, and the Packers’ secondary has its porous moments, but the Packers should be able to beat a Vikings team that still will likely have Case Keenum at quarterback. The Vikings’ defense got a late takeaway against Chicago to seal their win on Monday night, but Rodgers won’t make the same mistakes that Mitch Trubisky made. Deshaun Watson is overcoming all of the naysayers who didn’t think that he had the arm to make it in the NFL, or that his tendency of throwing too many picks at Clemson would turn into a full-blown turnover problem. He has looked like a third-year quarterback in his decisions, particularly against New England and Kansas City. The defensive problems that Houston has had should not show up against a Cleveland team that is having a hard time scoring on anyone, anyone at all. I see the Texans taking out some frustrations on the Browns this Sunday, that’s why they have to be on your NFL Parlay roster.

Afternoon Delight: L.A. Rams (+2.5) over Jacksonville, Kansas City (-4) over Pittsburgh

How about those Los Angeles Rams? We knew that they would have a salty defense with Wade Phillips coming in as the new coordinator — and given how well the unit had already been playing before his arrival. But who knew that Todd Gurley would get back to his NFC Rookie of the Year form from two seasons ago, and who knew that Jared Goff would turn into such a find at the quarterback position? The Rams are starting to look like a real contender in the NFC West and should be on your NFL Parlay bet for this week. Jared Goff and the Rams should be one of your top NFL Parlay Picks for Week 6. They did suffer a setback in a 16-10 home loss to Seattle last week, but I still see them heading to Jacksonville and controlling that Blake Bortles-led offense and getting enough scoring to come out with the upset win. It’s true that those Jaguars did just come back from Pittsburgh after delivering a 30-9 whipping of the Steelers. However, I’m not sure that Ben Roethlisberger is still his old self. He’s looked slower and more tentative this season, with the exception of their win over the Baltimore Ravens. Kansas City has a fast, aggressive defense, and while Alex Smith hasn’t turned into Brett Favre or Joe Montana, his accurate passing has shown itself to be just as spot-on when he throws the ball down the field. Kareem Hunt and Tyreek Hill have been huge additions to the Kansas City offense this year, and if the Jaguars can come to Pittsburgh and hang 30 on the Steel Curtain, I feel like the Chiefs should be able to score at will against Pittsburgh on their own home field.
