NASCAR Cup Series Odds and Betting Opportunities for Crayon 301

William Byron benefited from the arrival of a thunderstorm in Atlanta on Sunday night, as he held the lead when NASCAR red-flagged the Quaker State 400 after 185 of a scheduled 260 laps. Byron had passed AJ Allmendinger to take the lead on Lap 167, holding it until Ricky Stenhouse Jr, Bubba Wallace, and Ryan Preece got into a wreck in Turn 3 that led to the night’s seventh caution on Lap 178. Byron picked up his fourth win in 2023 to lead all drivers, and this was his second win at Atlanta and his eighth Cup Series win overall. This week, NASCAR is at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and the Cup Series event is the Crayon 301, set for 2:30 pm Eastern time on Sunday. USA Network will have the telecast, and you can also listen on PRN or SiriusXM. Check out the NASCAR betting odds for the drivers as well as our wager card suggestions.

Bet on the NASCAR Cup Series Crayon 301!

Kyle Larson

is ready for the return of the short-track package. He has two wins in 2023 with this new package (Richmond and North Wilkesboro), and he leads the Cup Series in average lap times on the series’ short tracks.

Christopher Bell

won the 2022 Cup Series race here and is the favorite because of his defending champ status. He also came in second the year before. In the Xfinity Series, he has won here three times.

William Byron

comes in with the second-fasted average lap time on short tracks in 2023. He did win at Atlanta, but that track requires a different style and has a different setup.

Denny Hamlin

has three runner-up finishes and a win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway dating back to 2015.

Kevin Harvick

has three victories, a fourth-place finish, three fifth-place finishes and a sixth-place in the last nine races at New Hampshire. We haven’t seen Harvick’s name in the winner’s circle much in the last few years, but this could be a throwback race for him.

Alex Bowman

is another Hendrick Motorsports driver who has done well in the short track package in 2023. We’ve told you about Larson and Byron, but Bowman is also solid, ranking sixth in short-track lap times this season.

Martin Truex Jr

has eight top-ten finishes (with an average finish of fifth in those eight) in the last 10 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Ross Chastain

won at Nashville three weeks ago, and his team (Trackhouse) is doing quite well. The New Zealand newcomer won at Chicago two weeks ago, and Daniel Suarez was the runner-up at Atlanta last week. That much speed on three different types of tracks is impressive.

Chase Briscoe

has struggled with intermediate-track races this year, but on the short tracks he is regularly in the top five. At North Wilkesboro and Martinsville, he had the third-best average lap times.

Tyler Reddick

was fifth in speed at North Wilkesboro and sixth in speed at Phoenix and Martinsville.

Chase Elliott

was the runner-up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway last year, and he could certainly use a jolt after what has been a disappointing 2023.

Aric Almirola

won the 2021 race at New Hampshire, and his team (the SHR Fords) has dominated short-track racing the last three years.
