NASCAR Cup Series Odds and Betting Opportunities for HighPoint.com 400

Martin Truex Jr dominated the Crayon 301 race last week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and picked up his first career Cup Series win in the Granite State. In 29 previous races there, he had led over 900 laps without ever picking up a win; this time around, he led an emphatic 254 of 301 laps to get the victory. This was his third win of the season and his second in a race pushed to Monday because of rain (along with his win in Dover). Despite three restarts in the last 24 laps, he held his lead and evaded a late push by Joey Logano, who hails from nearby Connecticut. This week, the circuit moves to Pocono Raceway for the HighPoint.com 400, set for Sunday at 2:30 pm Eastern time. USA has the telecast, and you can listen on Motor Racing Network or SiriusXM. We have the sports betting odds for the field of drivers as well as some solid suggestions for your NASCAR wager cards.

Denny Hamlin

crossed the finish line first at Pocono Raceway in 2022 before getting disqualified. That would have given him seven wins at this track in his career. If you don’t think he’s motivated to rectify that this year, you don’t know Hamlin.

Kyle Larson

was leading on the last lap in the 2021 doubleheader at Pocono Raceway when he blew a tire. He finished second in the back end of the doubleheader and cracked the top five here in 2022.

William Byron

led 22 laps in the second Pocono race in 2021, but his lack of fuel mileage cost him at the end.

Martin Truex Jr

has one win in the last 10 Pocono races – and his team (JGR) has eight unofficial wins in the last 10. Truex hasn’t been that dominant, but he’s coming off a big win last week and is likely to be feeling it.

Kyle Busch

won at Pocono Raceway in 2021 despite driving for JGR in a Toyota that had a broken transmission. The ins and outs of fuel mileage carried the day for him, and he has four wins here in his career.

Ross Chastain

is still one of the biggest lightning rods in the sport because of his aggressive driving style and unapologetic approach when he runs into his opponents. He got some payback at Pocono Raceway last year, as Hamlin rammed him in the last 20 laps, sending Chastain into a DNF instead of a victory.

Christopher Bell

is in fourth place in the driver’s standings, which tells you how consistently he finishes near the top of the leader list.

Chase Elliott

is actually the defending champion here after Hamlin’s disqualification here a year ago, and he has been racing well as of late.

Tyler Reddick

will be racing his first event at Pocono Raceway behind the wheel of a Toyota. He had done well here with a Chevy (11th, 9th, 2nd in his last three races here).

Ryan Blaney

has a win at Pocono Raceway in a Wood Brothers Ford, and now he’s with Team Penske, known for using strategy to steal wins.

Michael McDowell

has four top-ten finishes and five top-15 finishes in his last six races, and he cracked the top ten at Pocono Raceway last year.
