NASCAR Truck Series Betting Odds for Toyota 200 Preview

At the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on May 26, Ben Rhodes drove the #99 Ford F150 to a win for ThorSport Racing. This was his first victory in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series of 2023; he took the lead from Carson Hocevar after a restart on Lap 111 (of 134) and did not relinquish it. He ended up beating Corey Heim by 2.3 seconds. Behind Heim, Dean Thompson, Carson Hocevar and Grant Enfinger rounded out the top five. This week, the series heads to Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois, and the Truck Series event is the Toyota 200, set for Saturday at 1:30 pm Eastern time. FS1 has the telecast, and you can also listen on the SiriusXM app. We have the NASCAR betting odds for the field along with some wager card suggestions.

The speedway at Gateway runs 1.25 miles long and has a similar shape to Darlington Raceway. Turns 1 and 2 feature a tighter radius than Turns 3 and 4, and they have 11 degrees of banking. Turns 3 and 4 drop to nine degrees of banking. Noah Gragson holds the track record with a 2018 lap time of 32.815.

Zane Smith

is the defending champ in the Craftsman Truck Series. He won two of the first four races of the season and came in second in the fifth race. Since then, though, he has cratered a bit; in the last three races, he has failed to finish in the top 20. There are only five races left in the Truck Series regular season, so Smith needs to get back to his dominant ways before the playoffs begin. He came in ninth at this race last year, so while he’s the favorite, that’s more because of his early-season success rather than an analysis of recent work or history at thist rack.

Corey Heim

sits atop the driver standings heading into the 11th race of the 2023 Truck Seriers regular season. He only has one victory in 2023, but he keeps finishing in the top ten, stacking up those points. He has a win at Gateway in the past, so expect him to be right there at teh end this week as well.

Ty Majeski

secured a spot in the 2022 Truck Series playoffs with his impressive showing at this race in 2022. He finished the season by winning two more races and came in fourth in the standings. He hasn’t yet won in 2023, but he has been right there at the end in four different races.

Grant Enfinger

has only made the Truck Series final four one time, back in 2020. He didn’t qualify for the postseason the next year, but he ended up seventh overall last year. He sits in fourth place in the standings this season, which is an improvement.

Christian Eckes

won at Atlanta and Darlington, so he knows how to come in first at this type of track. He was the runner-up to Heim at this race last year.
