Brad Keselowski

Keselowski has gone through a long dry spell without any wins, so he certainly seems due. He did win this race in 2018 and came in second at the earlier race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2019. In the NASCAR Xfinity Series, he has a career win here as well. In his last eight races on this oval, he has a strong average finish, of 3.25. Since he is not already the favorite, betting on him gives you some added value.

Kyle Busch

Busch is another elite driver who has not won in some time, but as far as overall consistency in 2019, no one has a better record. At the South Point 400 in 2018, he came in seventh, and he has five top-10 finishes in his last seven starts at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He has one senior circuit win here, back in 2009, and he has three combined wins here in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.

Daniel Suarez

Suarez is a dark horse that you should take a closer look at. He has four straight top-11 finishes coming into this race, his best extended performance of 2019. He came in eighth at the 2018 South Point 400. In three NASCAR Xfinity Series appearances at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, he has an average finish of fifth place. For him to draw the checkered flag this weekend, a lot of breaks would have to go his way. However, that’s always what happens when dark horses end up paying off, and he has the recent form to make it worth the consideration.

Kyle Larson

Larson is another sleeper to consider. He offers considerably less value than Suarez, but he also has not won a race since 2017. Last year, though, he came in second at the South Point 400, and he has three top-three finishes in his last four races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. He also has three top-three finishes in his last four races here in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. When you are always sniffing around the top of the leaderboard, eventually you will win — and that’s the bet you’re making with Larson.

Joey Logano

Logano has already picked up a win at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2019, and he came in fourth here at the South Point 400 in 2018. He has an average finish of 4.57 in his last seven races on this track, and he won the 2017 Boyd Gaming 300, his only NASCAR Xfinity Series race at this oval. Logano took off when the playoffs started last year; can he do it again in 2019?
