Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (-7.5), Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM ET

The Lions and the Packers are both coming off defeats in Week 2, but Green Bay’s 17-14 defeat at Minnesota is something not to overreact about as the Vikings are a damn good team. The same can’t be said of the Lions who got humiliated at home by the in-transition Titans, a team that won just two games in 2015. And as an extra motivation for Green Bay, the Lions upset the Packers at the Lambeau last season; something that will definitely have Aaron Rodgers and the Packers extremely driven for a winning result this Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals (-4.5) at Buffalo Bills, Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM ET

NFL Week 3 Expert Pick: Arizona

The Bills and Dolphins were supposed to be taking advantage of Brady’s absence, but old habits seemingly still die hard, especially for Buffalo which is still struggling offensively and has seen its defense take a major step back from the improvements the team made in the course of last season. For Arizona, it looks like things are back on track, following their impressive showcase against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2. Playing in Buffalo’s backyard will be far from easy, particularly now that Rex Ryan will be under pressure to deliver a positive result and silence his critics. But after seeing Jameis Winston intercepted four times by Zona’s defense while Carson Palmer posted 308 passing yards and 3 TDs with  zero picks last week, it doesn’t look like the winless Bills will stopping the balanced Cardinals.

Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals (-3), Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM ET

By now, you should be at peace with the fact that the Broncos will always be competitive as long as their defense continues to play effectively. And with Trevor Siemian doing more than just fine under the center for Denver, the Broncos should hold plenty of value in the NFL lines this season, especially in winnable games like their trip to Cincinnati this weekend. We are aware about Andy Dalton and his much-talked about magic in 1:00 PM ET games and we also know that Cincinnati tends to play quite well at home. But Dalton is banged up (and could even miss this game), all the more reasons why you should consider Denver for the win here. Not to mention, the Bengals are just 1-5 in their last 6 overall meetings against the Broncos, making Denver an upside-filled underdog with solid winning value this Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings at Carolina Panthers (-7), Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM ET

NFL Week 3 Expert Pick: Carolina

The Next Man Up policy in Minnesota is transcending all betting logics in the league, as the Viking find themselves 2-0 SU and ATS up on the season. This, of course, includes last week’s impressive victory over Green Bay, where Sam Bradford had a memorable debut for Minny with 22-of- 31 completed passes for 286 yards and two touchdowns, including a remarkable 182-yard, 1-TD performance from deep-threat specialist WR Stefon Diggs. Meanwhile, Minnesota’s defense (15 PPG allowed this season) continues to make a case for the best defense in the nation this season, thanks to a solid pass rush unit and a mean defense. And after upsetting Carolina 31-13 when these two teams met in 2014, and doing so without Adrian Peterson was out for the season, it makes plenty of sense why a good number of experts are considering the Vikings as a strong sleeper pick in their trip to Carolina this weekend. But then again, the Panthers are an entirely different unit from the squad that was handily beaten by Minny in 2014. For one, Super Cam Newton is in an entirely different league, boasting of refined passing and rushing skills. In the meantime, Kelvin Benjamin, Greg Olsen, Ted Ginn Jr. and Devin Funchess are looking as good as ever in Carolina’s talent-heavy offense. And more importantly, the Panthers are riding hot on 14-game winning streak in the league—the longest active streak in the league—including a 5-0 SU and ATS mark in the last 5 home games, with the Panthers’ defense giving up just 17.7 PPG in the 14-game stretch. That’s just too much for Minnesota to deal with, especially with Adrian Peterson nursing an injury that will most likely keep him out of Sunday’s trip to Carolina.
