Through six weeks of the 2020 NFL season, we’ve learned a few things. Dak Prescott was able to hide a number of flaws on the Dallas team — a Swiss cheese offensive line first and foremost — that backup Andy Dalton was not able to hide in an embarrassing home loss to Arizona. The Pittsburgh Steelers have quietly become a dominant team once again, as we saw in their demolition of the Cleveland Browns. The New England Patriots either haven’t got much of an offensive system going, or Cam Newton’s COVID-19 case was a lot more severe than we thought, because he did not look like himself in Sunday’s loss to Denver. What will we see in Week 7?

NFL News: SU Picks for Week 7
Bye Week: Indianapolis, Miami, Minnesota, Baltimore
N.Y. Giants (+6) at Philadelphia
Thursday, October 22
8:20 pm ET
FOX / NFL Network
The Giants are 4-14 in their last 18 road games, and they are 1-9 in their last 10 games against the Eagles. Yes, Philadelphia lost again last week, but they almost came all the way back from a huge deficit to catch the Ravens. Eagles to win.
Early Games
Buffalo (-10.5) at N.Y. Jets
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
CBS
The Jets are 0-6 both straight up and against the spread. Buffalo is 5-1 in their last six games as a road favorite. Buffalo won the first meeting this year in Week 1, by a 27-17 margin. After two weeks of frustrating losses to the Titans and the Chiefs, I see the Bills taking out some frustrations here. Bills to win.
Detroit (+3) at Atlanta
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
FOX
Both of these teams won last week! However, the Falcons are just 2-8 in their last 10 home games, while Detroit is 2-1 on the road this year. Which Falcons team will show up? They have the talent to roll over a lot of teams. Falcons to win.
Cleveland (-3.5) at Cincinnati
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
CBS
Cleveland is 1-8 in their last nine road games, and they are 4-8 in their last 12 games against the Bengals. In Week 2, the Browns beat the Bengals at home, 35-30. The Browns’ offense was smothered by Pittsburgh last week, but the Bengals don’t have the same sort of defensive prowess. Browns to win.
Pittsburgh (-1) at Tennessee
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
CBS
Tennessee is 7-3 in their last 10 games as a home underdog, and Pittsburgh has gone 13-1 straight up against AFC South teams since the start of 2014. This matchup of unbeatens will be fascinating to watch, but I give the Titans the edge thanks to the bludgeon known as Derrick Henry. Titans to win.
Carolina (+7.5) at New Orleans
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
FOX
New Orleans has won 14 straight October contests dating back to 2016. Carolina has lost five consecutive NFC South games and looked confused in a home loss to Chicago last week. Saints to win.
Dallas (-3) at Washington
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
FOX
Dallas just gave up 38 points to an Arizona team that only got nine completions out of quarterback Kyler Murray. The Arizona defense got to Andy Dalton all night in that game — and Washington has a better front seven. Yes, Dallas is 14-2 in their last 16 games against NFC East opponents and 7-1 in their last eight against Dallas. Right now, though, Dallas looks awful. Washington to win.
Green Bay (-3) at Houston
Sunday, October 25
1:00 pm ET
FOX
Tampa Bay just dismantled Green Bay on Sunday. The Packers now visit a Houston team that lost a late lead at Tennessee this past weekend. Houston doesn’t have the same defensive intensity that the Bucs have — and I don’t see Aaron Rodgers having two dreadful weeks in a row. Packers to win.
Late Games
Seattle (-3.5) at Arizona
Sunday, October 25
4:05 pm ET
FOX
Arizona has an impressive defense, but their offense still makes too many mistakes to beat a team like Seattle, even at home. Seahawks to win.
Kansas City (-9) at Denver
Sunday, October 25
4:25 pm ET
CBS
The Chiefs have won 28 of their last 32 games against AFC West teams (although they lost their last divisional game, at home against Las Vegas). Kansas City has also won nine in a row straight up against the Broncos. Denver did smother the New England offense last week, but that won’t work against the Chiefs. Chiefs to win.
San Francisco (+4) at New England
Sunday, October 25
4:25 pm ET
CBS
San Francisco has won 9 of their last 13 games against AFC teams, and they have won five of their last six games in the Eastern time zone since the start of 2019. They just beat a Rams team by making them look confused all over the field. Can Bill Belichick really get outcoached two weeks in a row? Patriots to win.
Jacksonville (+9.5) at L.A. Chargers
Sunday, October 25
4:25 pm ET
CBS
Jacksonville has gone 1-9 straight up in their last ten games in the Pacific time zone. However, the Chargers are just 7-11 straight up in their last 18 home games. The Jaguars upset the Colts in Week 1…and have fallen off the table since. Chargers to win.
Tampa Bay (-2.5) at Las Vegas
Sunday Night Football
Sunday, October 25
8:20 pm ET
NBC
Tom Brady has lost five straight prime time games going back to his New England days. Las Vegas has won four straight games in prime time, including a ten-point home win over New Orleans. The Buccaneers looked rock solid in their shellacking of the Packers — can they take that on the road? Bucs to win.
Chicago (+6.5) at L.A. Rams
Monday Night Football
Sunday, October 25
8:15 pm ET
ESPN
Chicago has gone 6-5 in their last 11 games as an underdog, and they visit a Rams team smarting from a loss to San Francisco last week in prime time. I like the Bears’ defense, and if they can keep the pressure on Jared Goff, they should snag another key road win. Bears to win.
