This Sunday, NASCAR will return to Daytona International Speedway for the 2020 edition of the Busch Clash at Daytona. The race does not confer points on the winner; it will last 75 laps around the 2.5-mile track. The competition will be divided into two parts, as Lap 25 will feature a competition caution that will serve as the dividing point for the two segments. You can catch the action starting at 3:00 pm Eastern time on FS1. We have the sports betting odds for the 18 drivers in the field as well as suggestions for your wagering cards.

Joey Logano won the 2018 NASCAR Cup and will look to get a solid start this weekend. However, Daytona International Speedway has not been a great place for him. His average finish over 22 starts here is 12.67. However, in his last four races, he has two top-four finishes, including a fourth place result at the Daytona 500 a year ago.
Kyle Busch is the defending champion of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and will look to set the tone early this year with a big win. Daytona International Speedway has not been kind to him either, though, looking at historical trends. He has started 29 races here in his career but has won just once, and that was back in 2008, when he won The Coke Zero 400. In 21 races at Daytona since then, he has just five top-ten finishes.
Jimmie Johnson often appears in our lists as a sleeper pick, and he is a sentimental pick given that he is about to enter his last season as a full-time driver. He has seven NASCAR Cup titles, and winning his eighth would be a record. Getting him this opening win would help get him on his way. In 36 career starts at Daytona International Speedway, he has three wins. Oh yeah — he’s the defending champion in this race too.
Erik Jones has only raced at Daytona International Speedway six times, but he already has a win here. He won the 2018 edition of The Coke Zero Sugar 400. In the Daytona 500 last year, he came in third place.
Looking for a real long shot? Daniel Suarez is someone to consider. He has six career starts at Daytona International Speedway, and his best finish is 17th. His average result here for his career is 21.64.
Ryan Blaney came in fourth here in 2018 and in 2019. The 2020 edition marks his third entry in the Busch Clash at Daytona. So we see that he does not have a whole lot of experience at this track, but he does have a great deal of success in the times he has been there. The value is n’t huge here, but then again there really is not a definitive favorite to win the race. If you are looking for that slight boost in value, you might consider Blaney.
Kurt Busch was the runner-up at this race in 2019, and he came in third the year before that. He picked up a couple of wins in 2019, coming back up the points standings and actually challenging his brother Kyle for a short time before falling back. Given his history at this track, he is another driver offering higher value who has an excellent shot to take the checkered flag.
