Max Verstappen & Lando Norris Favorites: Dutch Grand Prix 2024 Odds & Expert Analysis

Before the Action, stay up to date with the Dutch Grand Prix Odds! Circuit Zandvoort will host the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend, as the summer break for Formula 1 comes to an end.

The course winds among the dunes along the North Sea coast of the Netherlands. This is the fourth straight year for the Dutch Grand Prix after an absence of over three decades from the F1 calendar.

The banked corners and dramatic altitude changes make it a popular course among the drivers.

It runs just 2.64 miles, one of the shortest in F1. The twists and turns, along with the narrow roadway, make passing difficult, putting a premium on qualifying performance.

The straights are comparatively short, putting less of a drain on power units.

The corners tend to flow, giving tires less wear, but the winds blowing onshore can disturb the cars’ handling – and sand can blow onto the track, interfering with the grip. We have the sports betting odds for each driver to win, along with insights about the race.

Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 Odds to Win

Max Verstappen

Verstappen has won all three installments of the Dutch Grand Prix since it reappeared on the F1 schedule in 2021, wowing his home fans.

Coming into round 15, Verstappen has pressure on him that he has not seen in several years. He has a four-race winless streak going, his longest drought since 2020.

He will make his 200th start, but pressure is coming from both McLaren, which will present what the team principal termed a “substantial upgrade” and Mercedes.

George Russell

Russell of Mercedes was the fastest in practice, beating Oscar Piastri of McLaren by 0.061 seconds.

Lewis Hamilton, the other Mercedes driver, came in third, and the other McLaren driver, Lando Norris – who is second in the driver standings behind Verstappen – was fourth. Verstappen came in fifth, 0.289 seconds behind Russell.

The last F1 race was the Belgian Grand Prix, which Russell thought he had won until a postrace test found his car underweight, handing the win to Hamilton.

Mercedes continues to move up the standings thanks to the solid contributions of both drivers.

Sergio Perez

Perez faces pressure, not because of the driver standings, but because of the constructors’ championship.

Verstappen leads Norris by 78 points, but Red Bull only needs McLaren by 42 points because of Perez’s poor driving performances.

He inked an extension just two months ago, but the fact that he hasn’t been on a podium since April and has not finished better than seventh since May is already giving him the hot seat.

Red Bull has five drivers for four seats on their primary team and the secondary team (RB).
