NASCAR Betting: Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 Odds & Preview

The NASCAR Cup Series moves to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this weekend’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. Kevin Harvick is the defending champion, but the winner of last week’s Super Start Batteries 400 is Denny Hamlin, who continues to have a terrific 2020 campaign. He has five wins on the season after his victory at Kansas Speedway, and he stands in second place in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. New Hampshire is another place where he has done well in the past, with three wins among ten top-five finishes in 26 career starts. We have the complete list of driver odds for your sports betting consideration, as well as some suggestions for your wagering choices against their NASCAR odds.

Kyle Busch, somehow, has still not won a race in 2020. He’s been sniffing right around the front of the pack when races come to an end, but he settled for 11th place at the Super Start Batteries 400. That came after a second-place finish at the NASCAR All-Star Race and a fourth-place finish at the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500. New Hampshire Motor Speedway is another track where Busch has a solid history, with three wins among 11 top-five finishes in 28 career races overall. His career average finish at New Hampshire is 12.61

Kevin Harvick has either been winning races or racking up points for solid results lately. At the Super Start Batteries 400, he came in fourth, giving him six consecutive finishes in the top five, with the exception of the NASCAR All-Star Race. In his past four starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Harvick has two victories (including the win in this race last year) and another top ten finish, going back to the 2017 campaign.

Jimmie Johnson could be a tempting sleeper, but remember the struggles he has had this season. At Kansas Speedway last week, he fizzled out and finished in 32nd place. If he wants to make the playoffs in his swansong season, he needs to start getting better results. New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been a good track for him, as he has 22 top-ten finishes here overall, including ten top-five finishes and three wins. However, he has not won at this track in ten years; in 2010 he won the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

Michael McDowell is a driver in the field who made headlines recently for running into Bubba Wallace. He has never finished higher than 17th place at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, but that finish came last year in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. So his best finish here is his most recent. He will make his 18th career start here on Sunday.

Matt Kenseth has three straight top-20 finishes and looks to improve his run at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In 37 career starts, he has a dozen top-five finishes, three of which were victories.

Martin Truex Jr has been very solid at New Hampshire Motor Speedway as of late. In his last four races, he has the best average finish (4.75) with three finishes in the top five, despite not winning any of them. His lowest finish in that stretch is sixth place, and he has led 332 laps, second most of any driver who has been all four races.
