How’s your NASCAR Betting for this weekend? Tyler Reddick roared to victory at the FireKeepers Casino 400 last week at Michigan International Speedway.
It took two overtimes to settle the race, and Reddick pulled away from William Byron at the second overtime restart, keeping Byron and Ty Gibbs at bay while winning by just 0.168 seconds.
Reddick has his second win of 2024 and the seventh of his career. Kyle Busch led 24 laps and ended up in fourth, one of his stronger races of 2024. He’s still over 100 points out of the playoff standings despite winning Stage 2 – just his first stage win of the season.
Next up is the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, set for 7:30 pm Eastern time on Saturday night.
NBC will have the telecast, and you can listen to the radio call on the Motor Racing Network or SiriusXM.

Bet on the Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 Odds
Ryan Blaney
Blaney has the best top-ten finish rate on super speedways of any Cup Series driver. Of course, wrecks and results can turn out completely randomly on these types of tracks, but Blaney is still a smart pick.
^Denny Hamlin
Denny Hamlin is on a plate-race slump at Daytona; his last top-ten finish here was back in 2021 at the Daytona 500. Since then, his average finish over six races here has been just 23rd.
^Joey Logano
Logano cracked the top five in both 2023 races at Daytona. However, his average finish between 2019 and 2022 here was just 22nd. Is he on the rise, or was 2023 an outlier?
^Justin Haley
Haley has raced in 22 super speedway races in the Cup Series, and he has posted a top-10 DFS score (fantasy points) in 41% of plate races, the highest number of any Cup Series driver.
He was also the top plate racer during his Xfinity Series days.
^Bubba Wallace
Wallace is just outside the playoff cutline and needs points. He has to drop the hammer at the end of stages – but that’s when risks most often turn into wrecks.
^Michael McDowell
McDowell won the 2021 Daytona 500 but hasn’t managed to replicate much of that success since then. In four of the last six Daytona races, he has failed to finish in the top 25.
^William Byron
Byron is the reigning champion of the Daytona 500, which makes two wins here. At Atlanta (another super speedway), he also has a pair of wins.
^Corey LaJoie
LaJoie is one of those drivers who start at the rear of the pack and works his way forward, doing just enough to finish in the top ten.
That doesn’t make him a smart pick to win (or even finish in the Top 3), but that improvement does pay off well for fantasy players.
^Chase Elliott
Elliott has been right there at the end in six of the last eight races. Eventually the brakes will fall his way, and he’ll get another victory.
^Kyle Busch
Busch has to win here if he wants to get into the Cup Series Playoffs.
His team won the summer race here in 2022, and Daytona is the best place for him to extend his streak of winning at least one race in every season.
