Can more chaos ensue this week? NASCAR is headed to Darlington Raceway in South Carolina for Labor Day weekend, and the Cup Series event, the Cook Out Southern 500, will start at 6:00 pm Eastern time on Sunday night.
USA will carry the telecast, and Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM will have the radio call.

Reddick ended up in a late wreck in the 2024 Goodyear 400 at Darlington. He was the runner-up in this event last year. However, he has shown all kinds of speed at the Track Too Tough To Tame.
^Kyle Larson
Larson is the defending champion of this race and has always shown speed here. Larson does have some issues managing wheels and tires late in races, though.
^Denny Hamlin
Hamlin has the best driving statistics in the NASCAR Cup Series this year, as well as for his career at Darlington. Without Reddick and Larson in the grid, Hamlin would be an immense favorite…but those two are in the grid.
^William Byron
Byron started 2024 in white-hot fashion, but things have gone quietly in the summer. He has finished in the top five in driver ratings at Darlington in five of the last six events there.
^Martin Truex Jr
Truex Jr won the spring race at Darlington back in 2021, and in the spring 2024 race, he wrecked on a restart. He now has five straight finishes outside the top 15 at Darlington.
^Brad Keselowski
Keselowski has shown speed at Darlington, but not enough to win in four straight events here. Joey Logano got a penalty in the last caution that cost him a chance to win in the spring race here. He won here in 2022 and will need to be just as fast to have a chance on Sunday.
^Ty Gibbs
Gibbs brings some good value – he was fast here in the spring and regularly finishes in the top five in summer races on intermediate tracks.
