NASCAR Cup Series: Find the Best Odds and Picks here for FireKeepers Casino 400

Ready for the Action in Cup Series? This is the perfect weekend for NASCAR Betting. Michigan International Speedway is set to host NASCAR this weekend, and the Cup Series event will start at 2:30 Eastern time on Sunday afternoon – the FireKeepers Casino 400.

The USA Network will have the telecast, with the radio call on Motor Racing Network. Last week, Austin Dillon literally banged his way to victory at the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway.

In overtime, Dillon rammed Joey Logano’s rear bumper, sending him into the SAFER barrier, and then dropped lower on the track and caromed off Denny Hamlin, taking the checkered flag just before the yellow flag went up.

This is Dillon’s fifth win of his career and his first in the last 68 races, a drought that extends back to 2022, when he won the regular-season finale at Daytona International Speedway. Dillon’s tactics led to anger from Hamlin and Logano’s camps – and discipline from NASCAR.

His win wasn’t taken away, but the automatic qualification he would normally get into the Cup Series Playoffs for winning the race was taken away.

There will be plenty of drama to go around this week, so check the sports betting odds as well as our wager card suggestions.

We return to an intermediate track this week. The spring schedule had five straight races on similar courses, and Denny Hamlin cracked the top five each time, including a victory at Dover and a runner-up result at Gateway.

^

Kyle Larson

Larson won the last race on an intermediate track – the Brickyard 400. However, Indianapolis and Michigan have different setups despite having the same packages. Hendrick cars have speed at all the intermediate tracks, so Larson is a smart pick.

^

Ryan Blaney

Blaney won at Iowa (short track package) and Pocono (intermediate track package) and has the most speed of a quick Team Penske set of drivers at this point.

^

Martin Truex Jr

Truex Jr would have won here in 2023, but he botched a pass attempt to take the lead. He was able to zip through traffic and drove well in clean air, but that one move cost him a win. Can he take it back this time?

^

Christopher Bell

Bell has done well at Michigan every time over the last few seasons, but he didn’t have the patience to make the speed work. He’s chosen to drive the car over the grip edge, turning possible wins into disappointments.

^

William Byron

Byron won three of the first seven Cup Series races, but he hasn’t won any at all since Martinsville. His Hendrick Chevy is speedy, but it no longer looks like the car of a Cup Series champion.

^

Tyler Reddick

Reddick has an average finish of fourth place over the last nine races, if you take his poor finish at Iowa out of the sample. Those nine races came on a variety of tracks, showing the strength of the engineers behind the 23XI Toyotas.

^

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski considers Michigan his home track, and he is still winless in 26 tries on the intermediate track.

^

Chris Buescher

Buescher got the lead during Stage 3 here a year ago, benefiting from clean air and taking the win despite having a slower car than Truex.

^

Chase Elliott

Elliott has a top-ten finish in three straight races despite cooling off after a brief burst of dominance.
