2024 Toyota Owners 400 Odds, Betting Picks for NASCAR Cup Series

NASCAR Cup Series moves back from the road to a raceway this weekend, leaving the Circuit of the Americas in Texas behind and heading northeast to Richmond Raceway in Virginia. The Cup Series event is the Toyota Owners 400, set for Sunday, March 31, at 7:00 pm Eastern time. FOX will have the telecast, and you can listen on Motor Racing Network or SiriusXM. Last week, William Byron was the Cup Series winner at the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. He is the first Cup Series driver to win more than one race this season, and this was his 12th Cup Series win overall. There were times when he pulled away to a three-second lead. With 10 laps left, Christopher Bell mounted a final charge, but Byron held him off to win by 0.692 seconds. Let’s look at the NASCAR betting odds for each driver in Richmond this Sunday as well as our wager card suggestions.

Bet on the NASCAR Lines for Toyota Owners 400

Christopher Bell

Bell almost won last week, but Richmond has been one of his top tracks. Phoenix Raceway is a similar short track, and he won the 2024 race there. He tested the package currently in use at Richmond last year.

Martin Truex Jr

Truex Jr was one of the best drivers in Phoenix a couple of weeks back when the short-track package made its 2024 debut, along with Bell. Truex can boost speed during a long run, and that could propel him to a win.

Denny Hamlin

Hamlin was part of a fast Toyota team at Phoenix, and his pit crew was also efficient. The pit is the best place to build advantages on short tracks, and Hamlin’s crew is one of the best.

Ty Gibbs

Gibbs is expected to pick up multiple race wins this season, and he’s also on that speedy Toyota team.

Chris Buescher

Buescher zipped through the field and won the fall race here last year – even though he had to start in 26th place. He was able to make up all that ground on a track where passing is extremely difficult.

William Byron

Byron ran well here in 2023. He made some contact while on pit road that kept him from contending here last fall. In the spring last year he led the most laps but ended up in a wreck during a restart late in the race.

Brad Keselowski

Keselowski led the most laps here in 2023, and he would probably have won the race if his late pit stop hadn’t been handled so slowly by his crew.

Kyle Larson

Larson won the spring 2023 race here after his team got the setup right. In the fall, they didn’t do the setup as well, and he struggled. This year brings a new setup with the 2024 short-track package. How well will Larson’s crew handle this?

Bubba Wallace

Wallace and the rest of the 23XI Toyotas had a whole set of problems on pit road at the fall 2023 race here. Wallace and Tyler Reddick tied for the third-most laps led here on that day, but their pit road performance was awful.

Ryan Blaney

Blaney came in fifth at Phoenix, and he offers a lot of value here given his performance on short tracks.

Chase Elliott

Elliott had 148 laps running in the top five at Phoenix and 214 in the top ten. He’s had a tough sled so far this year. Is this where he flips the script?

2023 NASCAR Cup Series Toyota Owners 400 Odds

The NASCAR Cup Series took a Formula 1 type of turn last week, running on the road course at the Circuit of the Americas, the home of the United States Grand Prix. Tyler Reddick took the win last week in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, making it through three Overtime restarts to get his first victory of 2023, beating Kyle Busch by 1.411 seconds. Reddick and William Byron kept giving the lead back and forth, but on the last two-lap restart, Reddick was able to take the lead coming out of Turn 1 and zip to the lead, leaving the next four finishers running bumper-to-bumper in his wake. This Sunday the series is at Richmond Raceway for the Toyota Owners 400. You can watch the action at 3:30 pm Eastern time, with the telecast on FS1 and the radio call on Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM. Don’t miss the NASCAR betting odds for each driver and our wager card suggestions.

Kevin Harvick

looked like a sure winner at Phoenix a few weeks ago before a caution in the last few laps moved the field around on pit road. He did win the last time the series raced at Richmond.

Kyle Larson

has crazy speed – but luck has gone against him all season long. Eventually, the luck comes around in your favor.

William Byron

has benefited from luck this season. He has elite speed, so he has earned his wins, but he hasn’t been caught up in late-race chaos like others have. The ability to avoid that chaos is why he is so high on the odds list.

Denny Hamlin

is third behind Byron and Larson in fast laps in 2023. However, Richmond is one of Hamlin’s home tracks, and he won the spring 2022 race here.

Christopher Bell

almost won the fall race at Richmond in 2022. He has won on other short tracks in the Cup Series, including New Hampshire and Martinsville last year. He hasn’t won at Richmond yet, but he will at some point.

Martin Truex Jr

raced well last year in the Richmond spring race – at least at the start, as he got out of the gate in a hurry but had poor strategy. He was close in the fall race before Ricky Stenhouse ended up running into him on pit road. Before that race, he had a top-four driver rating in nine straight races at Richmond.

Joey Logano

had a bad pit road experience ruin his 2022 spring race at Richmond. Between 2017 and 2021, Logano had seven top-five finishes in nine races at Richmond.

Kyle Busch

has cracked the top ten in ten straight Richmond races. He could have won here lsat spring, but he drew a black flag in Stage 3 for illegal tape that forced him into pit road while under a green flag.

Ty Gibbs

was neck-and-neck with John H. Nemechek in Stage 3 on the Xfinity Series at Richmond last year, and Gibbs was able to snag the win thanks to some aggressive maneuvering on the last lap.

Brad Keselowski

was inside the top five for a third of the race at Richmond, and it may be that he has a faster card this season, although it’s not as fast as the one he drive to victory here in 2020 with Penske.
