The eighth race of the 2020 season in the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series is set for Saturday night, from Texas Motor Speedway. One new wrinkle for this weekend’s action has to do with the guidelines that the state of Texas has put in place for stadiums — allowing up to 50 percent of seating capacity to be filled. That should turn into quite the spectacle. On Saturday night, the truck series will have its turn, and Kyle Busch has already announced that he will race in all three races (including the Xfinity Series and the Cup Series), so he will be the prohibitive favorite in the two lower divisions. Tyler Ankrum has raced at Texas Motor Speedway twice in his career and finished in the top ten both times. Sheldon Creed won the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoor Truck Series race a week ago at Kentucky Speedway. Stewart Friesen finished as the runner-up at Texas Motor Speedway in both 2018 and 2019 and is sitting at 14th place in the driver standings for 2020.
