Pacific Office Automation 147 Odds and Betting Picks for Xfinity Series

Xfinity Series Odds: NASCAR heads to the Pacific Northwest this weekend as Portland International Raceway in Oregon will host this weekend’s events. The Xfinity Series event is Saturday afternoon as the Pacific Office Automation 147 is set for 4:30 pm Eastern time. FS1 will have the telecast, and you can listen on Motor Racing Network or the SiriusXM app. Last week, Chase Elliott dropped down to race with the Xfinity crew and won at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It helped that he saved a set of tires for the last run so that he could snag the lead after a restart during Lap 183 and kept it for the duration. He beat Brandon Jones by 0.500 seconds as Jones had to rebound from early brake difficulties and ended up taking second. Elliott started in 30th after an uninspiring effort in qualifying. Don’t miss our sports betting preview of this week’s Xfinity Series clash.

Portland International Raceway is a road course that runs clockwise and is almost flat. There are nine turns, and the track runs 1.915 miles. This race will consist of 75 laps. So if you were wondering why the road-course guys are at the top of the odds list, now you know.

Brandon Jones

Jones is currently in tenth in the Xfinity Series driver standings. However, his best finish in Portland is 11th. He’s only started there twice, though, so this is a limited body of work.

Sammy Smith

Smith got his first top-five finish of 2024 at Charlotte, taking third place. He has seven top-ten appearances overall in 2024 and makes his Portland debut on SAturday.

Justin Allgaier

Allgaier has the third-best average finish (3.5) in the Xfinity Series with two top-fives, including a win at Darlington Raceway a couple of weeks ago.

Cole Custer

Custer got to win here a year ago en route to an Xfinity Series title. In 2024, he has six top-fives and nine top-tens in a dozen races and sits in third place. However, he’s still looking for his first checkered flag of 2024.

AJ Allmendinger

Allmendinger is a road-course guru. He has 17 career victories, and 11 of them have come on road courses. He hasn’t won a race since he came back down to Xfinity full-time for 2024. He sits in fifth place with a pair of top-five finishes and six top-tens.

Shane van Gisbergen

What about van Gisbergen? He made his debut in the NASCAR Cup Series last year on the Chicago street course and toko first place. His rookie season in the Xfinity Series has been more than decent, as he has two top-ten finishes and is ranked 15th. As another road-course expert, though, he’s the co-favorite for a reason.

Chandler Smith

Smith is just four points out of first place in the Xfinity Series with a pair of wins among six top-five finishes. He came in ninth at this race a year ago. Austin Hill is the current points leader, and his Richard Childress Racing team has an average finish of fourth over the last two installments at Portland. Jesse Love is fifth in points with seven top-ten finishes and makes his Portland debut on Saturday. Ryan Truex Jr won the Xfinity Series race as Dover and has a total of three top-five Xfinity Series finishes this year.
