Michael Annett is an interesting sleeper. He came in fifth and ninth at the two races last week at Kentucky Speedway. Now he’s looking for three consecutive top-ten results on an intermediate (1 ½ miles) track as an Xfinity Series driver. He has seven starts this season on this length of track, with one top-five and five top-ten finishes. His average finish overall is 8.9 on intermediate tracks. At Texas Motor Speedway, he has two career finishes in the top ten, including a sixth-place result in the spring of 2019. Overall, he has four straight top-ten finishes, so he’s someone to consider as a value pick.

Kyle Busch has opted to drop down and race with the Xfinity Series this weekend, and he is a frequent favorite in the NASCAR Cup Series, so when he races in this division, he is always a heavy favorite. He is looking for his first 2020 win in the Cup Series, but he already has a 2020 victory in the Xfinity Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which has a configuration similar to the one at Texas MOtor Speedway. His other Xfinity Series finishes in 2020 include a runner-up at Darlington and a third-place finish at Phoenix.

Austin Cindric won both of the Xfinity Series races at Kentucky Speedway last weekend. That gave him his first two career victories in the division on oval tracks, and he has nine top-five finishes in 15 Xfinity Series races so far in 2020. In May, he finished third at Charlotte, and in February he came in second at Las Vegas. Of the top Xfinity Series drivers, he is the one who could give Busch the most fits, assuming that Busch doesn’t have mechanical issues or have a hard time coming out of the back half of the field.

Noah Gragson got a little tense on Friday night, getting into fisticuffs with Harrison Burton after the second race at Kentucky Speedway. Gragson is looking to improve on an already solid resume in the Xfinity Series, with 11 top-ten finishes in 2020, including eight top-five finishes. He should be right there at the end on Saturday.

Ross Chastain is still looking for his first win in 2020 as part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, but he’s been sniffing closer and closer to that checkered flag. He had a pair of top-five finishes at Kentucky Speedway last weekend, and he finished fourth at Charlotte in May. His average finish this season is 8.33, with 13 top-ten results. He offers plenty of value and seems due.

Harrison Burton picked up a win at the first NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway in June, and he picked up a fifth-place finish at Atlanta as well. His last five races have been a bit of a grind, as crashes at Pocono and Talladega kept him out of the top five. He should have blown off some frustration when he and Gragson got in each other’s faces, but the friendly course at Texas Motor Speedway should give him plenty of room to start piling up impressive results again.
