It’s a busy weekend at the Pocono Raceway, as there is a doubleheader of NASCAR Cup Series races on Saturday and Sunday. Before the Pocono 350 later on Sunday, the Tricky Triangle will also host the Pocono Green 225 in the Xfinity Series. Defending champion Cole Custer, with Stewart-Haas Racing, will be back to defend his title in this 90-lap race around the Pocono Raceway. The track gets its name because of its unusual shape and layout. There are three turns and some long straightaways, and each turn has different banking, designed to resemble turns at other well-known raceways. Take a look at the NASCAR betting odds as well as some of our thoughts on the contenders.

Michael Annett came in eighth last year at the Tricky Triangle, which was his best finish ever as an Xfinity Series driver at Pocono Raceway. At Daytona in 2019 (also a 2 ½-mile track), Annett won. In his career, on tracks of this length, he has two top-five and six top-ten results. In his other two starts at Pocono, he came in 13th in 2017 and 35th in 2018 (although he had to overcome a crash). Annett did finish ninth at Talladega, moving him to ninth place after 11 races, so he can definitely make the playoffs but needs to keep pushing.
Justin Allgaier has competed in all four of the Xfinity Series races at Pocono Raceway, and his best finish here was as the runner-up. He led 27 laps here in 2019 but suffered from a spinout late in the race. He did storm back to finish 11th. He has led 40 laps at Pocono, tops among active full-time Xfinity Series drivers. He won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (also a 2 ½-mile track) in 2018. In all tracks of this length, he has eight top-five and a dozen top-ten finishes.
Daniel Hemric will start his ninth Xfinity Series race of the year. He has two top-tens and one top-five in his last two Xfinity Series starts at Pocono Raceway, including a third-place result at this race two years ago. He has six combined starts in the Xfinity Series, Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series and the NASCAR Cup Series at Pocono, with a top-five and four top-ten results.
Noah Gragson leads the point standings and has one career start at the Tricky Triangle, coming in sixth in 2019. After 11 races this year, he has two wins, seven top-five finishes, nine top-ten finishes (with five of those coming in a row). He looks to make it six in a row on Sunday. Since the season resumed, he has an average finish of 5.3, finishing in the top ten in all races except for one. In tracks that are longer than two miles, he has a win at Daytona to start 2020 and an average finish of 9.2.
