7DAYS EuroCup Week 15 Betting Picks and Preview of the Top Games

7DAYS EuroCup Week 15 Betting Picks and Preview of the Top Games

The NBA is far from the only game in town when it comes to online betting options for basketball. The 7DAYS EuroCup is the second-tier pro basketball tournament. The tournament is split into two groups, each with 10 teams. Each team plays 18 games, home and away against the other nine teams. Based on results, the top 16 teams advance into a double round-robin tournament that leads to the Playoffs, based on the group winners and runners-up from the Top 16. Each series in the Playoffs is best-of-3, including the Finals. Valencia Basket has won four titles, and 14 different teams have won the title since this tournament began in 2002. Virtus Bologna is the defending champion.

Let’s look at some Week 15 matchups as you consider your week placing bets in EuroCup.

7DAYS EuroCup Week 15 Betting Preview

Buducnost vs Hapoel Tel Aviv

Tuesday, March 7 | 1:00 pm ET
Buducnost (8-6) looks to bounce back after a tough loss to Paris. Scoring 87 points is usually enough to be close, but they couldn’t cool off Paris’ shooting. Buducnost shot 48.6% from the floor and made 9 of their 24 three-pointers, but they just couldn’t keep up.

Hapoel Tel Aviv (10-4) ran by Gran Canaria, 92-70, and their shooting was extremely hot. They made 60.3% of their shots overall and went 5 of 12 from behind the arc. They almost doubled up Gran Canaria on the boards, 46-24, and their ball movement was impressive as they dealt out 29 assists. Hapoel Tel Aviv to win.

Ulm vs Prometey

Wednesday, March 8 | 1:30 pm ET
Ulm (8-6) fell to Joventut, 82-76, last Tuesday. They were betrayed by poor shooting, as Joventut made 47.7% of their shots, while Ulm only made 36.9%. From three-point land, Joventut knocked down 45% of their shots, while Ulm only made 37.8%. Joventut outrebounded Ulm, 42-33 (11-9 on the offensive glass).

Prometey (10-4) romped over Olimpija last Wednesday, 94-68. They had just a one-point lead after one quarter but went into the locker room up by nine at the half and ran that to 20 after three. A key to the win was their three-point shooting, as they went 13 of 31 from downtown while Olimpija only made six of their 23 attempts from distance. They also shot and made 15 more free throws than the opposition. Prometey to win.

Hamburg vs Paris

Wednesday, March 8 | 1:30 pm ET
Hamburg (4-10) got trounced by the London Lions, 83-66, last Wednesday. The main problem for Hamburg was their shooting, as they only made 33.8% of their shots overall, missing 13 of 21 three-point shots. They also lost the rebounding battle, 44-32, although they did grab 11 offensive boards. They did get nine steals and forced 18 turnovers, but that poor shooting just doomed them overall.

Paris (9-5) jumped all over Buducnost in their showdown last Wednesday, leading 27-19 after the first period and going into the locker room at halftime up by a dozen. They shot 53.5% overall from the floor, including 11 of 27 from behind the three-point line. They did clank seven of their 23 free-throw attempts, but they pulled down more offensive rebounds (13-10) and total rebounds (37-34). They also forced a dozen turnovers and posted five blocks. Paris to win.
