eSports has become the focus of the sports betting world, and the Brazilian professional league for League of Legends is the CBLOL, currently in its sixth year of operation. We are in the last week of regular season play in 2020 Split 1, as eight teams square off over nine weeks in triple round-robin format for four playoff spots — and to avoid automatic relegation, which happens to the eighth-place team. The playoff winner will advance to the Mid-Season Invitational, a global tournament of regional league champions. If you’re thinking about including the Brazilian League of Legends in your online betting, take a look at our thoughts on the four April 25 matchups and their gambling odds.

Matches for April 25
KaBuM! e-Sports (1.888) vs Flamengo eSports (1.828) (12:00 pm ET)
The odds on this matchup are somewhat odd, as Flamengo eSports is well ahead of KaBuM! e-Sports in the standings and has won seven of the ten matchups between the sides historically. However, KaBuM! e-Sports has more motivation, as they need to pick up as many wins this weekend as they can to make it into the playoffs. KaBuM! e-Sports has not beaten Flamengo eSports since June 2019, and you don’t get a lot of value out of this underdog. Smart money is on Flamengo — but there are matchups with more value.
Prediction: Flamengo eSports wins
Redemption eSports POA (3.96) vs Vivo Keyd (1.23) (1:00 pm ET)
An interesting fact about this matchup is that Redemption eSports POA has won four of the six matchups with Vivo Keyd. However, this year Vivo Keyd is leading the league, while Redemption eSports POA is likely headed toward relegation. Vivo Keyd has also won the last two matchups between the two sides, turning the rivalry around.
Prediction: Vivo Keyd wins
FURIA Uppercut (2.08) vs INTZ (1.69) (2:00 pm ET)
FURIA Uppercut is the League of Legends team with the one-game lead in the CBLOL 2020 Split 1 standings, and yet they come is as the slight underdogs. Both teams need to win as many game as possible this weekend in order to ensure qualification for the playoffs, so I don’t see FURIA Uppercut suffering a letdown. The teams have split their last four meetings, and FURIA Uppercut has won four of five coming in (including a win over league-leading Vivo Keyd) while INTZ has won three of five. FURIA looks like the better choice — and they offer more value.
Prediction: FURIA Uppercut wins
paiN Gaming (1.69) vs Prodigy Esports (2.08) (3:00 pm ET)
These League of Legends teams come in tied in the standings, but Prodigy Esports has never beaten paiN Gaming in four attempts. Given the fact that they both stand at 9-9 in 2020 Split 1, though, the odds are with Prodigy Esports, especially since paiN Gaming lost to basement-dwelling Redemption eSports POA on April 19. I’m going with the slightly higher value that paiN Gaming offers.
Prediction: paiN Gaming wins
