Dota 2 BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia Odds & Picks June 10 Matches

Written by on June 9, 2020

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena video game that serves as a sequel to Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) which came out as a community-made mod for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne, its expansion pack. Dota 2 matches involve two teams of five players. Each team has its own base on the map, and each of the players controls a hero, with unique play styles and abilities. If your team can destroy the other team’s fortress, called an “Ancient,” you win. This is one of many multiplayer online battle arena video games that has developed a professional player following. The Beyond the Summit Pro Series is entering Season 2. In Southeast Asia, there are ten teams combining for a prize pot of US$50,000. Let’s check the Dota 2 Odds & Game Previews.

Dota 2 BTS Pro Series Southeast Asia Odds & Picks June 10 Matches

Right now, we’re in the middle of group play. This takes place in a single round-robin format, playing to the best of two, and the top four teams will advance to the Upper Bracket. The fifth through eighth seeds will go to the Lower Bracket, and the last two teams will be eliminated. Playoffs will take place in a double-elimination bracket. Standings (as of June 9)
  • Team / Match Record (W-D-L) / Game Record
  • Fnatic / 3-2-0 / 8-2
  • Team Adroit / 3-2-1 / 8-4
  • Geek Fam / 2-3-0 / 7-3
  • BOOM Esports / 2-2-0 / 6-2
  • T1 / 1-1-2 / 3-5
  • Execration / 1-0-3 / 2-6
  • TNC Predator / 0-3-1 / 3-5
  • Reality Rift / 0-2-2 / 2-6
  • Neon Esports / 0-1-0 / 1-1
  • Cignal Ultra / 0-0-3 / 0-6

Geek Fam (1.562) vs Execration (9.838) (12:00 am ET)

These teams will meet for the 18th time overall on Wednesday. Geek Fam has won ten times, while Execration has won six, with one matchup ending in a draw. Geek Fam has won the last two, but Execration had won three in a row before that. This is the first time the teams have met since May of 2019, however.

Geek Fam is undefeated so far in BTS Pro Series Season 2 play, although they have three draws. They did beat Team Adroit on June 8, 2-0, giving that side their first loss of the season. Execration lost, 2-0, to Team Adroit. Execration opened the season with a 2-0 win over Team Adroit but has not even won a single game since then, falling to Fnatic, BOOM Esports and Team Adroit via sweeps. Given this differential, I’m going with the favorites.

  • Final Prediction: Geek Fam wins

Geek Fam (1.99) vs T1 (6.60) (2:00 am ET)

Geek Fam completes their doubleheader with a matchup with T1. The teams meet for the third time, with Geek Fam having won both of their prior meetings. Both of these took place this year, with Geek Fam winning in the first season of BTS Pro Series and then again in the Cyber.bet Cup: Spring Series – SEA.

Geek Fam has had some tough luck, as you saw above, with three matches going to draws. That sweep of Team Adroit was particularly impressive and has me looking at them to pull off two wins on Wednesday. T1 was trounced by Fnatic and BOOM Esports. They drew Team Adroit and then beat Cignal Ultra, but if you look at the records against common opponents and in their matchup history, Geek Fam is the pick.

  • Final Prediction: Geek Fam wins

T1 (3.5) vs Neon Esports (3.5) (4:00 am ET)

T1 has won both of the prior matchups between these two teams, once back in May at the SEA Dota Invitational and the other in April at the Hephaestus Cup. T1 had a four-match winless streak across all competitions until they swept Cignal Ultra on June 9, 2-0, in BTS Pro Series play.

Neon Esports drew with Reality Rift in their BTS Pro Series Season 2 opener, but before that they had not won in four matches, losing to Photon Gaming at the Stella Cup and then going 0-2-1 in three matches in the Huya World E-sports Legendary League. You have two inconsistent teams, but T1 has had Neon’s number in the past, so I’m sticking with them.

  • Final Prediction: T1 wins

Cignal Ultra (5.4) vs Reality Rift (2.15) (6:00 am ET)

Cignal Ultra prepares to face Reality Rift for the tenth time overall. In their nine meetings, Reality Rift has won six times, Cignal Ultra has won twice and one match ended in a draw. That draw came in early April at the Amadeus Cup, and then Reality Rift swept Cignal Ultra at the Hephaestus Cup at the end of April.

Cignal Ultra has not won since a 2-1 victory over Execration at the Huya World E-sports Legendary League qualifier. They have yet to win a single game in BTS Pro Series Season 2 play. Reality Rift opened their BTS Pro Series Season 2 campaign with a draw against Neon Esports. Before that, they had drawn three times and won once in their last four matches in the Huya World E-sports Legendary League. I’m going with the favorites here on the basis of recent track record and history in the rivalry.

  • Final Prediction: Reality Rift wins
