eSports has become the focus of the sports betting world, and the North American professional league for League of Legends is the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) , currently in its eighth year of operation. The league is in the fourth week of the Summer 2020 season, in which ten teams compete in a double round robin group stage. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs. If you plan to include this section of eSports Betting in your weekend wagering, take a look at Sunday’s matches.

Matches for July 4
Golden Guardians vs Team SoloMid (4:00 pm ET)
These teams know each other well, having faced off ten times, and Team SoloMid has dominated the series, winning nine times while losing just once, and winning the last five in a row. Golden Guardians has dropped four of their last five, but they did win their last match, beating FlyQuest. Team SoloMid has won four of their last five, beating Dignitas, Immortals, Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves while falling to FlyQuest. Despite that record against a common opponent, Team SoloMid is in better form and has controlled the series.
- Final Prediction: Team SoloMid wins
100 Thieves vs Dignitas (5:00 pm ET)
This will be the third meeting between 100 Thieves and Dignitas; the teams split their two meetings in LCS Spring 2020 Group Stage play. 100 Thieves has dropped four of their last five, with their lone victory coming over Immortals. Since then, they have lost to Counter Logic Gaming and Team SoloMid. Dignitas is still looking for their first win in LCS Summer 2020 Group Stage play.
- Final Prediction: 100 Thieves wins
FlyQuest vs Evil Geniuses (6:00 pm ET)
FlyQuest and Evil Geniuses will meet for the fifth time on Sunday. Evil Geniuses has won three times, while FlyQuest has won once. FlyQuest did win the most recent meeting, in the LCS Spring 2020 Playoffs. FlyQuest just saw a long winning streak come to an end as they fell to Golden Guardians. Evil Geniuses has won three of five, beating Counter Logic Gaming, Team Liquid and Dignitas while losing to Cloud9 and Team SoloMid. These teams have identical 4-2 records and I see Evil Geniuses getting revenge for that playoff loss.
- Final Prediction: Evil Geniuses win
Team Liquid vs Immortals (7:00 pm ET)
Team Liquid has never beaten Immortals in five meetings all time. Team Liquid has won three of their last five matches, beating Golden Guardians, 100 Thieves and Dignitas while falling to Evil Geniuses and Cloud9. Immortals has dropped four of their last five, with their lone win coming over Golden Guardians. Given the difference in recent form, I’m going with Team Liquid to get their first win in this rivalry.
- Final Prediction: Team Liquid wins
