It’s time for the spring playoffs in the League of Legends League Championship Series, and we’re well into the first round of play. If you’re a sports betting enthusiast who doesn’t quite know what League of Legends is, it is a video game that Riot Games put together. It is a multiplayer online battle arena game that, at the professional level, involves teams of “champions” that take on other teams. They are both trying to get to the other side’s Nexus, at the center of their base and behind a number of elaborate defenses. The League of Legends League Championship Series is a professional gaming league that is entering its third season, and we are just at the beginning of the spring playoffs. The first round of the LCS losers’ bracket is set to continue on April 8, with 100 Thieves squaring off against Team SoloMid. The tournament is double-elimination, which means that the winner of this match is still alive to come all the way back and take the title. Let’s check the League of Legends Odds for today.

Loser’s Bracket, Round 1 (Best of 5 series)
- FlyQuest d. Golden Guardians, 3-0 (April 7)
100 Thieves came into the playoffs as the third seed but took a whipping at the hands of Cloud9, taking a 3-0 sweep. Team SoloMid was the fifth seed and awaited the loser of 100 Thieves and Cloud9. Despite the difference in seeding, Team SoloMid has an excellent chance to send 100 Thieves home. Here are some players you should consider for your fantasy picks.
MVP: Bjergsen (Team SoloMid)
Bjergsen had a solid regular season, a top finisher in the NA LCS. His Kill/Death/Assist (KDA) ratio was second best among the mid laners, and he ranked third in kill participation (KP%) and had the second lowest share of his side’s deaths. In his last ten games, Bjergsen has killed five or more opponents five times. He also has five games with at least five assists — and nine games in which he has died no more than three times. That combination of high ceiling and low downside makes him a solid choice. His opponent in the lane will be Ryoma, who has the third worst Creep Score (CS) among all mid laners, and he has the second most deaths. Bjergsen has the edge in ability, and he will need to stand tall for Team SoloMid to win.
Star: Cody Sun (100 Thieves)
The Attack/Damage/Carry (ADC) character always racks up the points, and Cody Sun makes the most sense as a pick from 100 Thieves. In the LCS Spring Season, he ranked third in both kills and assists among all ADCs — but he also led all ADCs in deaths, so there is a downside. If you take out his series against Cloud9, Cody Sun posted at least five kills in five of his last nine games. If 100 Thieves is going to have success, Cody Sun will need to carry them on his back.
Utility: Kobbe (Team SoloMid)
Kobbe will is Team SoloMid’s ADC, and in the side’s two contests against 100 Thieves, he had an aggregate KDA of 5/5/15. If you’re stacking Team SoloMid, use Kobbe along with Bjergsen, as they have more upside than any other players on the team and will contribute heavily if Team SoloMid ends up winning. He is not an elite ADC, but he is above average in almost every statistical category.
