eSports has become the focus of the sports betting world, and one of the most popular video games used in professional eSports is League of Legends. PulseFire Cup is a tournament held in Vietnam, featuring eight teams. The teams are divided into two groups of four teams apiece, and the top two teams in each group will advance to the semifinals. The playoff bracket is single-elimination. Today’s article covers match play on May 19, which is the third and final day of group play. Check out the current standings as well as our League of Legends betting thoughts on the four matches set for Tuesday.

OverPower Esports vs EVOS Esports (6:00 am ET)
No one is eliminated in Group A yet, which means that everyone will be giving maximum effort. EVOS Esports made it to the second round of the League of Legends VCS Spring 2020 playoffs, where they fell to Team Flash — who has already beaten them in group play once again. EVOS has dropped four of five matches across all competitions.
OverPower Esports is a relatively new team, so it is difficult to predict their outcome. CERBERUS Esports was not strong enough to beat OverPower Esports, so I’m going to take OverPower here since they have the better record against that common opponent.
Final Prediction: OverPower Esports wins
CERBERUS Esports vs Team Flash (7:00 am ET)
CERBERUS Esports did not advance to the playoffs in the League of Legends VCS Spring 2020 league. They have not played since April 5, when they beat EVOS Esports in their finale. Before that, they had split their last four matches.
Now they take on Team Flash, unbeaten to this point in group play. Team Flash also won the League of Legends Spring 2020 Grand Final, beating GAM Esports 3-2. Given that track record, I’m going with Team Flash to keep the winning going.
Final Prediction: Team Flash wins
Percent Esports vs Team Secret (8:00 am ET)
I’m not sure that I would drop a lot of money on this game. Why? Because neither one of these teams can advance to the playoffs. In other leagues, the only matches in group play are the ones necessary to establish playoff qualifiers. Team Secret has been playing poorly in multiple competitions recently, while Percent Esports is a collection of newcomers. If you’re dead set on picking a winner, go with the new kids and see if they can knock off a team that has been struggling.
Final Prediction: Percent Esports wins
Dashing Buffalo vs GAM Esports (9:00 am ET)
This is the first-place game in Group B, which means that the winner gets the runner-up from Group A in the semifinals, so they likely get to avoid Team Flash. Dashing Buffalo finished the Spring 2020 group stage of the League of Legends VCS competition on a five-match losing streak. However, they have picked up two wins here. GAM Esports made it to the playoffs after a nice winning streak in the VCS Spring 2020 league but lost in the first round to Team Flash. They did push Team Flash to the limit in the best-of-five series, so I’m taking GAM Esports here.
Final Prediction: GAM Esports wins
