Midseason MLB Betting Predictions

It’s early August, and we are here to give you some Midseason Major League Baseball betting Predictions. Today’s bets are going to be based on divisional winners. We have 50 games to go, so a bunch of things can change, but let’s take a look at our Midseason MLB Betting Predictions for the 2016 season:

Let’s Take a Look at the Midseason MLB Betting Predictions

AL East

Out of the American League East; it’s the toughest division to predict. The Baltimore Orioles have pretty much led all season, but the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox continue to lurk nearby. It’s like that all three of these teams will head to the postseason. In the end, the most well rounded team in this division is the Toronto Blue Jays. Our first bet is the Toronto Blue Jays at +160 to win the American League East.

AL Central

Out of the American League Central, the Cleveland Indians have been leading most of the season. The Indians have seen the Tigers make up ground quite a bit this summer. The Cleveland Indians are listed at -350, while the Detroit Tigers are up to +275. We like the offense of the Indians, and their starting pitching has been great, therefore our bet for this division is the Cleveland Indians at -350 to win the American League Central.

AL West

In the American League West, the Texas Rangers and Houston Astros appear to be the two teams with any chance. The Rangers are currently -600 to win the division. The Houston Astros are a team that can get red hot, especially when they start hitting. At this point, the Astros just do not seem to have enough starting pitching. The bet for this game is the Texas Rangers at -600.

NL West

In the National League, the best division is the National League West. The San Francisco Giants have been leading this division all season. But, since the All Star break, the Giants have struggled, and let the Los Angeles Dodgers back in the race. The Giants have too much pitching to not win this division. The bet for the National League West is the San Francisco Giants at -200.

NL East

In the National League East, the defending champion New York Mets seem to be all but dead. The Miami Marlins have taken the second place from them, but even they do not have enough to win the division. Dusty Baker in his first season with the Washington Nationals are the big favorite to win this division. Bet on the Washington Nationals -2000 to win the National League East.

NL Central

Finally, the National League Central has been over since August started. The Chicago Cubs have the best record in all of Major League Baseball, and will head to the postseason with that distinction. The Cubs have the pitching and the hitting to win 100 games this season. Make sure you wager on the Chicago Cubs at -1400 to win the National League Central in 2016.
