No Clear Favorite in Friday Rangers-Tigers Baseball Betting Match

They are 4.5 games back of the final Wild Card spot, and have been struggling to find a decent level of consistency for quite some time now. They gave the others in the chasing pack something to think about, though, after sweeping the Chicago Cubs in a 2-game interleague series, scoring 25 runs in the process. Whether this is a minor power surge or a sign that they are ready to take a serious run at the playoffs remains to be seen, but if they can continue with the hot bats, things could get interesting. The Tigers will send Justin Verlander (1-5, 4.11 ERA) to the mound, and will be hoping that he can continue to deliver the scoreless innings that he has posted in back to back starts.
