MLB Betting Preview on Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox

MLB Betting Preview on Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox

On Saturday night, the Minnesota Twins will be in Chicago for the middle game of their weekend series with the White Sox. The Twins (8-20) are off to a dreadful start, and they lost their last game on Wednesday to the Houston Astros, 16-4. They are 10 ½ games behind the American League Central-leading White Sox (19-10), who found themselves cooled off a bit by Boston, losing on Thursday by the score of 7 to 3. A Quick Analysis on the MLB Betting Preview on Minnesota Twins at Chicago White Sox

When: Saturday, May 7, 2016, 7:10pm Eastern time Where: U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago TV: FSN, WGN RadioMinnesota / Chicago Live Stream: MLB.tv MLB Odds: TBA Pitching Matchup: Ervin Santana (0-1, 3.15 ERA) (MIN) vs Chris Sale (6-0, 1.66 ERA)

Why Should You Bet on Minnesota?

It looks like the Twins are already turning the roster over and seeing what young talent they have down on the farm. They designated four pitchers (J.R. Graham, Ryan O’Rourke, Tommy Milone and Casey Fien) for assignment and sent catcher John Ryan Murphy to AAA Rochester to work on his game. Ownership is already issuing statements of support for their manager, Paul Molitor, and their general manager. Sometimes this helps a bit, as the youth movement brings energy to a roster. I don’t think it will help much against a pitcher like Chris Sale, though. I can’t see myself putting a dime on the Twins in this one.

Why Should You Put Your Money on the White Sox?

My money would go on the White Sox in this game because of their starter, six-game winner Chris Sale. His last start only saw him go out for 5 ⅓ innings, but he only permitted five hits and a single earned run while fanning six as the White Sox rolled over Baltimore, 7-1. In his start before that, he held the Blue Jays to a single run in eight innings and only issued a pair of walks. Given the malaise currently plaguing the Twin offense, this seems like an automatic win for Sale.

Expert Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

I’m predicting that the White Sox will roll all over the Twins in this one, to the tune of a 7-0 victory.
