Betting on the Phoenix at Milwaukee NBA Odds

When: Wednesday, March 30, 2016, 8:00pm ET Where: BMO Harris Bradley Center, Milwaukee, WI TV: FSAZ, FSWI Radio: Phoenix / Milwaukee Live Stream: NBA.com NBA Odds: TBA

Why Should You Bet on the Suns?

The Suns may have won only 20 games this season, but their version of small ball has turned games into track meets at times this year, and that has led to frustration on the part of many of their opponents. The Bucks are not really built to win at small ball, so if the Suns can turn the rhythm to their advantage, they could upset the Bucks. Devin Booker put up 30 for Phoenix in their loss to Minnesota, and teammate Brandon Knight added 30 of his own (including seven threes). If they can get that same sort of dynamic up and running early in Milwaukee, that would give them a real advantage.

Why Should You Put Your Money on Milwaukee?

The Bucks are reeling right now after taking a beating from the Hornets. Giannis Antetokounmpo, all 6-11 of him, had been showing some promise at the point, of all places, thanks to his handles, but Nicolas Batum ate him alive on defense. Antetokounmpo has shown himself to be a tough competitor this season, though, and I could see him bouncing back against a Suns team that does not play a lot of defense. Phoenix also does not have the same explosive offense that the Hornets do, so the Bucks should have an easier time containing them early on. The Bucks only shot 36 percent from the floor against Charlotte, and that should go back up against the Suns, who do not contest as many shots.

Expert Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

I like Milwaukee to impose their will on a Suns’ defense that is more than charitable. I’m picking the Bucks to win, 108-102.
