NBA Finals Odds Preview Cleveland at Golden State Game 2

When: Sunday, June 5, 2016, 8:00pm Eastern time Where: Oracle Arena, Oakland TV: ABC Radio: Golden State / Cleveland Live Stream: NBA.com NBA Odds: Warriors -6.5 (207)

Why should you bet on Cleveland?

The Cavaliers have to be wondering what they have to do to beat the Warriors. They have now lost all three meetings with Golden State this season (including two from the regular season). Kyrie Irving posted 26 points (11 from the free-throw line), but the Cavs only shot 38.1 percent from the field, and Kevin Love scored 17 points and grabbed 13 boards. He put the Cavs up with 3:57 to go in the third, but Draymond Green put down an emphatic dunk in Golden State’s next possession. The Cavs are now 5-3 in road games in this postseason, despite sweeping the Pistons and Hawks in the first two rounds of the postseason.

Why should you put your money on the Warriors?

If you had heard before Game 1 that Golden State would only get a COMBINED 20 points from Curry and Thompson, wouldn’t you have put your money on Cleveland? A big pile of money? Of course you would have. However, the Warriors’ bench was huge, outscoring the Cleveland reserves 45-10. Draymond Green put up 16 points, dished out 7 assists and pulled down 11 boards. Shaun Livingston hit 20 points for the first time in his postseason career. The bench came on and hit all the big shots, and the Warriors also upped their game on defense, turning 17 Cleveland turnovers into 25 points. Andre Iguodala did a decent job guarding James, as LeBron only had 23 points.

Expert Betting Pick and Final Prediction

I don’t think that Curry and Thompson will be cold at home two games in a row, and I don’t think the Cavs are ready for the onslaught that’s coming. I’m predicting a 122-111 Golden State win.
