The Raptors have been stumbling along in inconsistent fashion for a couple of months now, yet still find themselves holding on to the 4th spot in the Eastern Conference. In fairness to the Raptors, they have had their division title locked up for quite some time now, which can make it hard to stay motivated for extended periods. That said, going along like that makes it difficult to step up a gear once the playoff starts. As it stands right now, they would have a very tricky opening round match-up versus the Washington Wizards to look forward to, although they are a team that is having some similar problems to that currently being experienced by the Raptors.
