NBA Odds Analysis and Game Preview
The Thunder have been one of the hottest teams in the west since the All-Star break, and have put together an impressive 7-3 record in the last 10 games. A similar record in their final 10 games should be more than enough to see them into the postseason and a potential match-up with the conference leading Golden State Warriors. There is some work to be done before any of that happens, though, and Sunday in Phoenix is going to be pivotal to their success. Right now, OKC has a 3-game lead over the Suns, which could well be extended before the weekend is over. The Thunder have a very winnable game versus Utah on Saturday before they have to face the Suns on Sunday. If they can win both of those, the playoff picture will start to look a little clearer.Great @Grantland33 column about the Thunder distancing their players from OKC media & their growing rift http://t.co/Umtw9LChyG @curtisbeast

Phoenix have been doing all that they can to try and keep pace with the Thunder, which is no easy task right now. The Suns have gone 6-4 in their last 10, and are sure to be disappointed at dropping a home game to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Next up on the schedule are a pair of games with the Portland Trail Blazers, with the OKC game wedged in between. That is going to prove to be a very tough trio of games, and you have to think that they realistically need to win 2 of 3 in order to stay in the hunt. Time is quickly running out, and closing a 3-game gap with just 10 games to play is an unenviable task.
