The Bearcats are playing for seeding in the NCAA tournament, as some experts have them as an 11-seed right now. When SMU and Cincinnati met in Dallas, SMU completed a late comeback to stun the Bearcats, and Cincinnati will be looking for revenge. SMU has not played as well against the AAC contenders on the road, falling to Houston, Temple and those same Connecticut Huskies out of town, and after the emotional burst of Senior Night, the Mustangs may be a bit down with no postseason play ahead of them. The Mustangs’ weaknesses are defending against the three and interior rebounding, and if they falter in either area the Bearcats should win.

This will be the last game for senior Nic Moore, the defending AAC Player of the Year, as well as Markus Kennedy and Jordan Tolbert, who are taken together three of the best seniors in the nation. If they beat Cincinnati, they will be guaranteed at least a share in that title.
