Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is coaching his last season, but his career might end sooner than he had planned. He coached the first half of Tuesday’s game against Wake Forest but felt ill as the game went on. At halftime, he was suffering from dizziness and left Jon Scheyer, his assistant who will succeed him next season, to coach the Blue Devils the rest of the way. Duke almost blew a 19-point lead, but a key putback by Mike Williams helped stake Duke to a 76-74 win. Coach K attributed the attack to coaching at the age of 75, and he plans to return for Duke’s next game. As you consider whether to include Duke (or other college basketball teams) in your online betting for the weekend, we have a parlay pairing for you to consider, as an AAC matchup and a Big Ten showdown during brunch time on Sunday give you an opportunity to take advantage by winning both College Basketball bets.

Sunday Brunch Special
#14 Houston at Wichita State (1:00 pm ET, ESPN)
Houston had a difficult week last week, falling at SMU and then losing at home to Memphis. However, they bounced back nicely on Thursday, routing UCF at home, 70-52. In the win, Taze Moore had 14 points and seven boards, and Fabian White Jr put up a dozen points. Jamal Shead matched him with 12 points of his own, along with eight assists, while Kyler Edwards had 10 points, nine boards and seven assists. Houston continued to struggle from three-point land, making just 7 of 23 shots, but they still won handily.
The Cougars now head to Wichita State, who have struggled with COVID-19 issues in the program. They have split their last four games and have a busy scheduling coming up, with several games to make up. They lost at Cincinnati on Thursday, 85-76. In that setback, the Shockers could not get much going inside, as they had four shots blocked by Abdu Ado. Ricky Council IV led Wichita State with 17 points, and Tyson Etienne and Dexter Dennis scored 14 points apiece. Given how well Houston played against UCF, I expect them to handle the Shockers as well.
Michigan at #15 Wisconsin (1:00 pm ET, CBS)
Michigan has won three of four, with wins at Penn State, at home against then-#3 Purdue, a loss at home against Ohio State and a win at Iowa on Thursday that has some bracketologists listing Michigan as part of their last four in the Big Dance. In the win over Iowa, Moussa Diabate had a career best with 16 points, as the freshman went 12 of 15 from the floor and grabbed eight rebounds. Hunter Dickinson had 14 points, nine boards and seven assists.
The Wolverines’ next test is a trip to Wisconsin, winners of three of four – but with their lone setback coming at home against unranked Rutgers (as the Scarlet Knights have made a habit of beating ranked conference foes as of late). The Badgers bounced back with a five-point win at Indiana on Tuesday. In that win over the Hoosiers, Johnny Davis scored the last 13 points of the game for Wisconsin, putting up 30 on the night. He went 10 of 15 from the floor and 10 of 14 from the free throw line. It didn’t help that Indiana went just 1 of 10 down the stretch. Can the Badgers stop a solid Michigan team?
