Winning SU NCAAB Picks from this Weekend (Feb 19-21)

Written by on February 18, 2016

Are you looking for some solid straight-up picks from college hoops to restore some sanity (and some cash) to your online sportsbook account? Take a look at some of these games.

Winning SU NCAAB Picks from this Weekend

Harvard at Columbia (Friday, February 19th)

You may never have bet on an Ivy League game before. However, the basketball there is just as competitive as it is anywhere else. Columbia is in third place in the league, while Harvard is way down the standings. Pick Columbia to take the easy home victory over the Crimson.

Iona at Monmouth (Friday, February 19th)

Yes, Monmouth is best known this year for their zany bench celebrations. However, take a look at any Bracketology article — they are viewed as a trendy upset pick to make it as far as the Sweet 16. Iona, on the other hand? Not so much. Take Monmouth in this one.

#20 Duke at #18 Louisville (Saturday, February 20th)

Yes, Louisville managed to hold off Syracuse at home. But who beat UNC on the road? That’s right, Duke did. They have risen from the ACC cemetery and are terrorizing opponents all over the place now. Louisville might play a tough game but will lose this one.

Butler at #1 Villanova (Saturday, February 20th)

If you can find reasonable straight up action on this game at all, take it, and then take it again.

#3 Oklahoma at #10 West Virginia (Saturday, February 20th)

West Virginia has had a rough week, but they are returning home to play another bruised giant from the Big 12. Look for that raucous arena and that perilous press to wreak havoc on the visiting Sooners.

#2 Kansas at Kansas State (Saturday, February 20th)

weekend-su-ncaab-betting-feb-19-to-21 Kansas is just about the only Big 12 team that has managed to avoid the upset bug. I like them to continue that trend in this cross-state rivalry game.

#14 Kentucky at Texas A&M (Saturday, February 20th)

Kentucky has found their form that will serve them will in the tournament, and the Aggies are still in that free fall that started when they were #5 in the land.

TCU at #13 Iowa State (Saturday, February 20th)

If this were a football game, I’d have the Horned Frogs all day long. However, TCU basketball still has a ways to go to be competitive in the Big 12.

#17 Purdue at #22 Indiana (Saturday, February 20th)

The Hoosiers have been giant killers at home (yes, Iowa, that’s you we’re talking about). I like them to do the same with the Boilermakers coming to town.

Colorado at UCLA (Saturday, February 20th)

The Bruins just polished off Arizona in the desert. I like them to come home and take care of a very mediocre Buffaloes squad.

East Carolina at #21 SMU (Sunday, February 20th)

If SMU loses to Connecticut on Thursday, then this will fit my Angry Revenge Theory. If SMU beats Connecticut on Thursday, the Ponies will be back on their roll to a regular season AAC title. Either way, I’m picking them to beat East Carolina.

Illinois at Wisconsin (Sunday, February 20th)

Illinois is struggling in Big Ten play, and Wisconsin just knocked off Maryland on the road last weekend. Take the Badgers here.
