Wisconsin Should Be Easy NCAAB Lines Pick vs. Minnesota

Now is not the point in the college basketball season where you want to see seeds of doubt planted in the minds of your team. Teams that have been on a roll can suddenly hit a wall when they experience a loss that somewhat redirects them from where they were headed. At this stage of the season, there is little time to bounce back from a loss, yet that is what the Wisconsin Badgers are going to have to do in order to get their heads right for the tournament. What do the NCAAB lines say? Lets take a look. Venue: Williams Arena, Minneapolis, Minnesota Date: Thursday, March 5, 2015 Time: 7:00 PM ET TV: ESPN/ WATCH ESPN Spread: Wisconsin -6 minnesota

NCAAB Lines Analysis and Game Preview

There were fewer teams hotter than Wisconsin (26-3, 14-2) heading into last week’s game with Maryland. They had rolled of 10-straight wins, and the loss that came before that could easily be chalked up to not having star player Frank Kaminsky on the court that night. The Badgers ran into a Maryland team that effectively just shut them down at every turn on their way to a 59-53 win. Wisconsin is not among the highest scoring teams in the NCAA, but that number was low even for them. Kaminsky did manage to match his season average by chipping in 18 points, but he really didn’t get nearly enough help from his supporting cast. The Badgers can keep things tight on the defensive side of the court, but this loss makes you wonder what will happen if they meet a team in the tournament that suddenly gets hot on offense. They did bounce back with a win over Michigan State, and have a chance to make it 2 in a row on Thursday versus Minnesota. wisconsin The Minnesota Golden Gophers (17-12, 6-10) essentially saw their season come undone once they entered conference play. Minnesota were able to snap a 3-game losing skid by knocking off Michigan State last Thursday, but they needed OT to get the job done there. The Golden Gophers actually have a better PPG average than Wisconsin, but where they have struggled at times this season is on the defensive side of the court. While there are still some that look at Minnesota as a team on the bubble, the reality is that their chances of getting into the tournament look pretty bleak right now.

What Should You Bet On?

These two teams locked horns a couple of weeks back, and it was Wisconsin who came up with the comfortable win at home. I expect the same outcome on Thursday, with the Badgers likely to claim a double digit victory.
