Sure College Football Parlay Betting Picks for Week 1

With Labor Day comes, one of the most exciting weeks in the NCAA football season — the opening week of action. Thanks to those rules surrounding the College Football Playoff, teams aren’t using Week 1 to schedule cream puffs anymore (well, except for Baylor). Let’s take a look at some college football parlay picks for Week 1 that will have a terrific chance of pointing you toward a winning week to open the season. In Depth Analysis on the Sure College Football Parlay Betting Picks for Week 1

Friday, September 2: Temple/Army and Toledo/Arkansas State

The Army Black Knights will head to Philadelphia as 21.5-point underdogs. I think that the Temple Owls will be able to beat them, but Army plays a slow, plodding style, and their option offense means that they grind up a lot of clock. Temple struggled to put away weaker teams down the stretch in the sort of fashion that they will need to do to beat this line, and Week 1 often features a lot of sputtering from offenses in the college game. I like Army to cover here. Toledo heads to Arkansas State with a razor-thin line (ASU -2.5) that basically acknowledges that Toledo is having to travel down to the Deep South. Based on how they played down the stretch in the MAC last year — a much tougher conference than what Arkansas State had to negotiate — I like Toledo to win and cover.

Saturday, September 3: Notre Dame/Texas and Oklahoma/Houston

The Fighting Irish ran the Texas Longhorns out of their stadium last year, and now the Irish are only favored by four points? Malik Zaire is back at quarterback, and he tore that Longhorn defense to shreds last season. The Longhorns will be better, but they aren’t ready to hang with what the Irish are going to bring. I like Notre Dame to win and cover here. Oklahoma heads south to take on the Houston Cougars at NRG Stadium. This isn’t the Cougars’ home stadium — it’s where the NFL Texans play — but there will still be plenty of Cougars faithful in the stands alongside Sooner Nation. Houston has a big chip on their shoulder after almost finishing with an unblemished season last year. Their offense is still dynamite, and the Sooners are likely to follow up their trip to the CFP semifinals by overlooking the Cougars — to their peril. I like Houston to win and cover.

Saturday, September 3: LSU/Wisconsin and Ole Miss/Florida State

LSU makes the trip to storied Lambeau Field for this one, but the Tigers are still favored by three. They will bring big Leonard Fournette with them, but the SEC showed the rest of the nation how to handle LSU — by stacking up that line, because LSU doesn’t have a passing game. I like the Badgers to win and cover. Ole Miss goes to Orlando as a six-point underdog to the Florida State Seminoles. The Seminoles played a solid season last year, while the Rebels need to show that they’re more than a one-hit wonder. The Seminoles are ready for a resurgence, and this big win in a neutral site game will make their first statement. I like the Seminoles to win and cover.
