2016 NFL Postseason Betting Predictions
Out of the NFC, the four divisional leaders right now are the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and then the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tied for the NFC South. The wildcard is going to be quite the dogfight. There are several teams with an 8-5 record. The Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks are our predictions to grab the top two seeds in the NFC. Dallas has been rolling since Week 1 of the season, and Seattle has a very favorable schedule to wrap up the season. Those two teams are both great at home, so look out. The next two divisional winners in our predictions go to the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers need to win their final three weeks from here, and really need some help from the Lions in losing. Look for the Lions to struggle down the stretch, which will get Green Bay in as the #4 seed. The postseason games in the NFC would be Atlanta Falcons at home against the Detroit Lions, who would fall to the 6th seed. The 4th seeded Green Bay Packers would get a chance to play the 5th seed, which we are predicting to be the New York Giants. The Giants and Redskins play in the final week of the season, and that will be a massive game for which team gets in. Our first round predictions then go to the Green Bay Packers at home, and the Atlanta Falcons at home. What a second round game between Dallas and Green Bay. In a great game, the Green Bay Packers are our prediction to win that game. The Packers would then travel to Seattle in the NFC title game. The Seahawks beat up on the Atlanta Falcons, to get to the NFC title game. In the NFC title game, our prediction is the Seattle Seahawks at home over the Green Bay Packers. In the AFC – it appears the New England Patriots will come away as the top seed. The rest can be a little messy. The Kansas City Chiefs are our prediction to come in as the second seed, as they come away with a win over the Oakland Raiders. The third seed will go to the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the Houston Texans winning the AFC South. Our two wildcard predictions go to the Oakland Raiders and the Miami Dolphins. What a season for Adam Gase and the Miami Dolphins. The first game in the postseason features the Pittsburgh Steelers at home against the Miami Dolphins. Pittsburgh wins that game at home. The second game is the Houston Texans at home against the Oakland Raiders. This is a game that the Raiders can go on the road and win. The top seed New England would then get a chance to take on Oakland, and would win a thriller. The Pittsburgh Steelers would then pull the upset on the road at Kansas City, setting up a Patriots and Steelers AFC title game. IN a little bit of an upset, our prediction is the Pittsburgh Steelers over the New England Patriots. In Super Bowl 51, our final NFL Prediction is the Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Seattle Seahawks.
