NFL Week 11 Odds, Overview and Pick for Each Game

Written by on November 13, 2018

Just when it looked like the Jason Garrett Era might be over in Dallas, the Cowboys went up to Philadelphia and beat the Eagles, 27-20, on Sunday night. There were plenty of other surprises in the NFL last week, as Baker Mayfield showed his considerable promise once again and led the Cleveland Browns to a huge home win over the Atlanta Falcons. Then there were the Buffalo Bills, who ran out to a 31-0 lead en route to a rout of the New York Jets. And the New England Patriots took a beating from the Tennessee Titans, leading tailback Dion Lewis to troll the most dominant team in the AFC for “going cheap.” What will unfold this week? Take a look at our NFL Week 11 betting predictions. As always, home teams are in all caps.

NFL Week 11 Odds, Overview and Pick for Each Game

  • Bye Week: Buffalo, Cleveland, Miami, New England, N.Y. Jets, San Francisco

Thursday, November 15, 8:20pm ET

SEATTLE (-2.5) over Green Bay

The Seahawks went down to Los Angeles and took a five-point loss against the Rams, but the fact that they were able to hang 31 points on that stout defense. Now they come home to face a Green Bay team that routed the Dolphins at home. That Seattle defense should be able to pressure Aaron Rodgers enough to take the win.

Sunday, November 18, 1:00pm ET

ATLANTA (-4.5) over Dallas

Dallas has not won two games in a row this season, and they won last week. They don’t have the pass rush to slow down Matt Ryan, and the Falcons will be spoiling for redemption after losing in Cleveland last Sunday.

DETROIT (+3.5) over Carolina

The Panthers had a nice winning streak going into Pittsburgh last Thursday but then got beaten by 31 points. Can Matthew Stafford also find holes in the Panther defense? Yes, yes he can.

Tennessee (+3) over INDIANAPOLIS

The Titans beat Dallas two weeks ago and then knocked off New England last week. How are they an underdog here? The Titans are on a roll here and should find room to move against a generous Colts defense.

WASHINGTON (+3) over Houston

Yes, the Texans have won six in a row after losing their first three. However, I like the Washington defense to take charge, as they did in wins over Dallas and then over Tampa Bay last Sunday.

Pittsburgh (-3.5) over JACKSONVILLE

The Jaguars are in full tailspin mode, while Ben Roethisberger has never looked as dominant as he looks right now.

BALTIMORE (PK) over Cincinnati

The Ravens are struggling right now, but the Bengals just got drummed by 37 at home. I see the Ravens figuring things out after their bye week and winning another AFC North game at home.

Sunday, November 18, 4:05pm ET

ARIZONA (-3.5) over Oakland

The Raiders look like they’ve given up on this season, while Josh Rosen is giving Arizona signs of life in the desert. This might be the ugliest game of the whole weekend, though.

L.A. CHARGERS (-7) over Denver

The Chargers have won six in a row, including convincing wins at Seattle and at Oakland. That grinding defense has only permitted more than 19 points once in this streak. Denver had a two-game losing streak going into their bye, but I don’t see them taking down a hot Chargers team.

Sunday, November 18, 4:25pm ET

NEW ORLEANS (-7) over Philadelphia

The Eagles had just three points in the first half against Dallas, but they ended up giving 27 points to a Dallas team that hasn’t scored on anyone except Jacksonville this year. Meanwhile, New Orleans went on the road and hung 51 on a Cincinnati defense that has some teeth.

Sunday, November 18, 8:20pm ET

CHICAGO (-3) over Minnesota

Is the Chicago defense ready to shut down the Vikings? Can Mitch Trubisky outduel Kirk Cousins? I say yes.

Monday, November 19, 8:15pm ET

Kansas City (+1) over L.A. Rams (in Mexico City)

The Rams have been flirting with defeat lately, as their defense is leaking badly. I see the Chiefs taking advantage in what could be a Super Bowl preview.
