Ten of the 32 teams in the NFL sit at 0-2 already, which means that their prospects for the playoffs have become grim even at this early point in the season. The biggest surprise might be the Jacksonville Jaguars, as Gardner Minshew II seems to have found his mojo once again at quarterback. Injuries have played a debilitating role for a number of teams, with seven different players going down for the season with ACL tears in Week 2 play alone. This could be attributed to the lack of preparation in the virtual off-season — although the NFL is also taking a closer look at the turf at MetLife Field, where four different 49ers went down with injuries that will leave them out for weeks, if not the entire season.
Who should you pick against the spread in Week 3, after all the carnage? We have your NFL betting picks right here.

2020 ATS Picks for NFL Week 3
Miami (+3) at Jacksonville (O/U 48)
Thursday, September 24
8:20 pm ET, NFL Network
Miami is 0-2 after losing at New England by 10 and at home to Buffalo by just three. Jacksonville knocked off an Indianapolis team with a tough defense and hung with Tennessee until the very end. Dolphins fans were calling for Tua Tagovailoa in their loss in Week 2 — how much longer will Ryan Fitzpatrick start at quarterback for Miami?

Early NFL Games
Chicago (+3.5) at Atlanta (47.5)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, FOX
Chicago is 2-0, while Atlanta is 0-2. The Falcons became the first team ever to score 39 or more points in the NFL, commit zero turnovers, and still lose a game. The Bears still have a stout defense, and Atlanta’s Julio Jones has hamstring issues.

L.A. Rams (+2.5) at Buffalo (47.5)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, FOX | Check the Odds
Buffalo routed the Jets in Week 1 but barely held off the Dolphins in Week 2. The Rams survived Dallas in Week 1 and trucked the Eagles in Week 2. The Rams are tough to beat now that their O-line is healthy.

Washington (+7) at Cleveland (43.5)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, FOX | Check the Odds
The Browns beat the Bengals by five points at home last Thursday. Washington is the real deal on defense but has a hard time moving the ball on offense. I think Cleveland wins, but by a touchdown or more?

Tennessee (-2.5) at Minnesota (47.5)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, CBS
The Vikings only put up 11 points against the Colts, but the Titans led Jacksonville crack 30 in their meeting last week. I think the Vikings put up better numbers on offense; can the Titans keep up?

Las Vegas (+6.5) at New England (48)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, CBS
Vegas just beat the New Orleans Saints by 10 points at home in prime time. Now they face a New England team that pushed Seattle hard before losing by eight. The Raiders have an aggressive defense, and Derek Carr looks as good as he has since leading the team to an AFC West title in the 2016 season. Cam Newton has the Patriots’ offense moving, but can they crack the Raiders enough to win by a touchdown?

San Francisco (-4.5) at N.Y. Giants (40.5)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, FOX
The 49ers won’t have their starting quarterback — but the Giants won’t have Saquon Barkley. I’m not putting a ton of money on this game because of the injuries that hit the 49ers’ roster, but the 49ers still have the talent to win this.

Cincinnati (+6.5) at Philadelphia (46)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, CBS
The Bengals got within five points of Cleveland on the road, and Cleveland’s offense is thriving much more vibrantly than that of the Eagles.

Houston (+3.5) at Pittsburgh (45)
Sunday, September 27
1:00 pm ET, CBS
The Texans are 0-2, heading to take on a Steelers team that is 2-0 and looks solid with the return of Big Ben.
Steelers to win and cover.
Late NFL Games
N.Y. Jets (+10.5) at Indianapolis (43)
Sunday, September 27
4:05 pm ET, CBS
The Colts rolled right over Minnesota in Week 2 — but lost to Jacksonville in Week 1. Which team will show up against the Jets? The Jets couldn’t hang with the 49ers even after Jimmy Garoppolo and other starters went down to injury.

Carolina (+6.5) at L.A. Chargers (43.5)
Sunday, September 27
4:05 pm ET, CBS
Carolina’s defense has not played well in their first two games, and they lost tailback Christian McCaffrey to a high ankle sprain. The Chargers didn’t look solid in a win over the Bengals, but they pushed the Chiefs to overtime.

Tampa Bay (-6) at Denver (43)
Sunday, September 27
4:25 pm ET, CBS
Denver will have Jeff Driskel at quarterback thanks to the injury to Drew Lock. I don’t see a Driskel vs Tom Brady quarterback duel going well for the Broncos.
Buccaneers to win and cover. | Check the Odds
Detroit (+5.5) at Arizona (55)
Sunday, September 27
4:25 pm ET, FOX
The Lions are coming apart at the seams already, while the Cardinals look like a team headed for the postseason.

Dallas (+4.5) at Seattle (55.5)
Sunday, September 27
4:25 pm ET, FOX
Dallas has a high-octane offense, but their first quarter play has been atrocious in the first two weeks. Seattle looks like they are in midseason form with their offense already.
Seahawks to win and cover. | Check the Odds
Sunday Night Football
Green Bay (+3) at New Orleans (52)
Sunday, September 27
8:20 pm ET, NBC
The Saints got drilled by Las Vegas on Monday Night Football. The Packers have an offense that might be better than the Raiders’ — but the Raiders’ defense is better than Green Bay’s.
