After this coming weekend, we’ll have made our way through the first quarter of the 2020 NFL regular season. There are some surprising 3-0 teams, such as the Chicago Bears, who despite their three wins are changing their starting quarterback. There are the Green Bay Packers, who despite a number of holes on defense, have managed to outscore the opposition in dramatic fashion. There are also some surprising winless teams, including the 0-2-1 Philadelphia Eagles, who really did lead Washington by 17 shortly before halftime in Week 1 before going into a swoon that has extended into a tie with the Cincinnati Bengals this past week.
We’ve selected three primo NFL betting picks for you to consider going into Week 4.

Week 4 Odds, Picks & Top Predictions
Cleveland (+4.5) at Dallas (O/U 55.5)
Sunday, October 4
12:00 pm ET
The Browns have won two in a row after getting steamrolled in Baltimore in Week 1, knocking off Cincinnati and Washington at home. Now they hope to end a seven-game road losing streak in Dallas. Baker Mayfield has thrown for 564 yards and posted a 5:2 TD:INT ratio, completing over 62 percent of his passes. The running game has contributed handsomely in Cleveland, with the team picking up 170.3 yards on the ground per game. Nick Chubb leads the team with 292 yards and four scores, but Kareem Hunt has contributed as well. The defense is a bit of an issue, permitting 29.3 points per game, but Myles Garrett has three sacks, two of which have been the strip-sack variety.
Dallas is 4-2 in their last six games, and Dak Prescott has thrown for 1,188 yards, with an identical 5:2 TD:INT ratio. Both of those interceptions (as well as a fumble) came in last week’s loss in Seattle. The wide receivers in Dallas are a terrific bunch, with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb and Cedric Wilson making perhaps the league’s hardest group to cover. The questions with Dallas come on defense, as two starting linebackers and two starting defensive backs have already gone down to injury, and the back seven wasn’t that stout to begin with. I like Cleveland to establish the run and take control of the game’s rhythm.
Final Score Prediction:
Cleveland 27, Dallas 24 | Check the Odds
Seattle (-6.5) at Miami (54)
Sunday, October 4
12:00 pm ET
The Seahawks look much more focused so far in 2020, with impressive wins over Atlanta, New England and Dallas to start the year. Russell Wilson has thrown 14 touchdowns in three games, an NFL record over that time frame. Chris Carson has been pounding the ball from the tailback position, but he remains questionable after a knee injury in the Week 3 win over Dallas.
Miami started the season with two tough losses, falling by 10 at New England and by three to the Bills at home. However, they looked impressive against Jacksonville in Week 3. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. However, the Miami pass defense doesn’t have the rush up front or the coverage to slow down the Seahawks.
Final Score Prediction:
Seattle 30, Miami 20 | Check the Odds
New England (+7) at Kansas City (54)

The Patriots have started the 2020 season 2-1, with their lone loss coming against the Seahawks out on the West Coast in Week 2. Cam Newton has rejuvenated the Patriots’ offense, throwing for two touchdowns and running for two more. He has completed 68.1 percent of his passes thus far, with Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry his top two targets. Sony Michel leads the Pats with 173 rushing yards, and the team has gained 594 ground yards so far.
Kansas City looks to complete their fourth 4-0 start in as many seasons, and they have a five-game winning streak at Arrowhead Stadium. Patrick Mahomes has a 9:0 TD:INT ratio, completing almost 68 percent of his passes. Tailback Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been a terrific find in the draft, and the Chiefs’ defense has amped things up, permitting just 20 points per game. They beat Baltimore on the road by 14 their last time out.
Final Score Prediction:
Kansas City 31, New England 20 | Check the Odds
