The NFC West is one of the most exciting divisions in the NFL right now. The San Francisco 49ers won the division in 2019, although they needed some help from the officials at the end of their Week 17 win over Seattle to get there — and they almost lost to the Arizona Cardinals not once, but twice, as Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray grew into his own in a hurry during his rookie season. The Los Angeles Rams took a step back and look to be in the middle of a partial rebuild, but the other three teams make for a scary collection. Arizona Cardinals
Draft Picks Available- 1st round (eighth overall)

- 4th (131)
- 6th (202)
- 7th (222)
Arizona locked down D.J. Humphries at left tackle on the offensive line but also needs depth at right tackle. They have Marcus Gilbert back, but he has missed 36 games over the last three seasons combined.
Possibilities: Andrew Thomas (Georgia), Matt Peart (Connecticut)
The defensive line got a boost from the addition of Jordan Phillips via free agency. However, the interior of the line could use a blue-chip tackle, and an edge rusher could make life easier for Chandler Jones.
Possibilities: Derrick Brown (Auburn), Leki Fotu (Utah), Darrell Taylor (Tennessee), Bradlee Anae (Utah)
On defense, the Cardinals could use a top-shelf cornerback. Robert Alford missed the 2019 season with a broken leg, so they need to draft someone to play across the formation from Patrick Peterson.
Possibilities: Javaris Davis (Auburn), Cameron Dantzler (Mississippi State)
Los Angeles Rams
Draft Picks Available- 2nd round (52nd overall)
- 2nd (57)
- 3rd (84)
- 3rd (104)
- 4th (126)
- 6th (199)
- 7th (234)
Cory Littleton left town via free agency, so the Rams need a blue-chip linebacker to join Travin Howard, Kenny Young and Micah Kiser. The defense could also use an edge rusher after Clay Matthews and Dante Fowler went to other teams as well.
Possibilities: Terrell Lewis (Alabama), Julian Okwara (Notre Dame), Jordyn Brooks (Texas Tech), Akeem Davis-Gaither (Appalachian State)
The offensive line has a lot of guys vying for starting slots, such as David Edwards, Joseph Noteboom, Austin Corbett, Brian Allen and Austin Blythe, but they could use some star power in the middle, and they could also use some depth at tackle, as Andrew Whitworth is now 38.
Possibilities: Lloyd Cushenberry (LSU), Matt Peart (Connecticut), Hakeem Adeniji (Kansas)
The Rams sent Brandin Cooks to the Houston Texans via trade, so they could use a speed wide receiver to stretch the defense and open up possession routes for Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.
Possibilities: Devin Duvernay (Texas), John Hightower (Boise State)
San Francisco 49ers
Draft Picks Available- 1st round (13th overall)
- 1st (31)
- 5th (156)
- 5th (176)
- 6th (210)
- 7th (217)
- 7th (245)
We saw in the Super Bowl that the 49ers really only had one elite wide receiver — and that was Emmanuel Sanders, who is now in New Orleans.
Possibilities: Jerry Jeudy (Alabama), Denzel Mims (Baylor)
Another offensive need is on the O-line, where tackle Joe Staley has moved on, and the starting right guard spot is also open.
Possibilities: Josh Jones (Houston), Matt Hennessy (Temple)
On defense, the 49ers could use depth at cornerback, as Akhello Witherspoon and Richard Sherman are entering contract years, and Emmanuel Moseley has not done enough to show he can start.
Possibilities: Cameron Dantzler (Mississippi State), Noah Igbinoghene (Auburn)
The defense could also use help at tackle. DeForest Buckner was traded, and his replacement, Jullian Taylor, is returning from a knee injury.
Possibilities: Ross Blacklock (TCU), Justin Madubuike (Texas A&M)
Seattle Seahawks
Draft Picks Available- 1st round (27th overall)
- 2nd (59)
- 2nd (64)
- 3rd (101)
- 4th (133)
- 4th (144)
- 6th (214)
Seattle is still dealing with Jadeveon Clowney’s contract situation, so an edge rusher could work out, but they could also use a defensive tackle. They were in the bottom four in the league in quarterback hits and sacks in 2019.
Possibilities: Marlon Davidson (Auburn), Neville Gallimore (Oklahoma)
At wide receiver, the Seahawks had Tyler Lockett and got a lot out of rookie D.K. Metcalf last season, but they could use one more elite receiver for Russell wilson.
Possibilities: Brandon Aiyuk (Arizona State), John Hightower (Boise State)
George Fant and Germain Ifedi both left, so the Seahawks need a right tackle. They added Brandon Shell, but he is more a depth piece than a starter.
Possibilities: Isaiah Wilson (Georgia), Lucas Niang (TCU)
