    The New York Giants (3-3) have struggled to record victories since Week 2, but are coming off a morale-boosting home win over the Baltimore Ravens, a victory they are hoping to help fuel a turnaround for their campaign. The Los Angeles Rams (3-3), meanwhile, are coming off a gut-wrenching defeat at the hands of the Detroit Lions, but they did very few wrongs in that game and are looking will be looking to rectify their mistakes for a possible win in Week 7.     Why Bet in the Giants?

    The Real Odell Beckham Jr. is back, or so it seems. After struggling through the first four weeks of the season and tallying no touchdowns, Beckham recorded a touchdown in a losing effort to the Packers two weeks ago, and then outdid himself by having a career day—posting a career-high 222 receiving yards plus two TDs, including a go-ahead game-winning score—to help the New York Giants to a much-needed victory over the Baltimore Ravens last week. The Giants will be hoping for a similar effort from effort, though preferably early in the game rather than late when the game is nearly out of reach. This means Eli Manning must get his game going as early as possible, along with a better support from NY’s defense that has considerably struggled to contain opponents early in the game.

    Why Bet on the Rams?

    The Rams were very unfortunate not to pick their fourth win of the season last week, dropping a heartbreaking 31-28 decision to the Lions. Quarterback Case Keenum did everything required of him, passing for a commendable 321 yards and three TDs (on 27-of- 32 passing). But the LA defense failed to make enough stops in the game, allowing Mathew Stafford and the Lions to shine and claim the win. Fortunately for the Rams, the Giants have not been the best of team when it comes to defending the ball. This should allow Keenum, Todd Gurley and the Los Angeles’ offense decent opportunities to pass and run the ball. A strong effort must, nonetheless, be forthcoming from Los Angeles against New York’ extremely talented offense if the Rams are to outlast the Giants.

    My Betting Predictions and Picks

    Going by how both teams played last week, we could easily be in for a shootout affair when the Giants and the Rams clash this weekend. Not only are both defenses a work in progress, but the two opposing offenses have shown the ability to put up decent points on the board in recent weeks. In addition, past meetings between these two teams have delivered some good-scoring encounters, with the total going OVER in 5 of the last 6 games between the Giants and Rams. With all that factored in, we expect both teams to combine for an OVER total. Winning-wise, the Giants are definitely the more talented side, but we feel that the underrated hosts should be able to knick the win, thanks to their superior defense and an offense that is progressively finding its footing in the league.
