Buffalo Bills at Philadelphia Eagles
When: 7pm ET Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia TV: None Radio: WCMF 96.5 FM (Buffalo) / SportsRadio 94WIP (Philadelphia) Live Stream: NFL Live NFL Preseason Odds: TBA The Bills are still putting their new schemes together with a new head coaching regime in place, while the Eagles are readying for their second year under Doug Pederson. The Bills have the edge on the rushing game — depending on how much time LeSean McCoy gets, and they might have the better secondary, depending on the time that Tre’Davious White gets back there. However, the Eagles have LeGarrette Blount carrying the ball, so the Bills’ edge may be slim depending on the amount of time he gets. I like this to be a nailbiter, so I’m taking the Eagles at home.Friday, August 18
Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks
When: 10pm ET Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle TV: NFL Network Radio: KFXN-FM (Minnesota) / 710 ESPN (Seattle) Live Stream: NFL Live NFL Preseason Odds: TBA I’m excited about the Vikings this year, as they bring in Dalvin Cook to carry the ball, and they had one of the best defenses in the NFC. However, you have to be better than they are for me to pick them over the Seahawks at home — particularly given how much Pete Carroll likes to win in the preseason. Give me the Seahawks.Saturday, August 19
Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals
When: 7pm ET Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio TV: None Radio: 101 The FOX (Kansas City) / WCKY-AM ESPN 1530 (Cincinnati) Live Stream: NFL Live NFL Preseason Odds: TBA Let’s see — a disciplined Kansas City team following Andy Reid’s system against a Cincinnati team that has shown nothing but issues with chemistry and focus the past two seasons. That’s a pretty easy pick for me — and I’m also excited to see Patrick Mahomes throwing the ball for the Chiefs. I’ll take Kansas City to win here.Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys
When: 7pm ET Where: TV: NFL Network Radio: Live Stream: NFL Live NFL Preseason Odds: TBA The Dallas Cowboys faltered on offense against the Rams this past Saturday night, but Dak Prescott still has yet to take the field to run the Cowboys’ offense. We did learn that Kellen Moore probably shouldn’t be the answer at backup quarterback, but we’ll see if Jerry Jones wants to open the vault and pay a decent backup. The Rams have a much better defense than the Colts, and I expect Prescott to get a lot of time on the field in the Cowboys’ home preseason opener. Give me Dallas to win.
