SU Picks for the 2020 NFL Week 10

SU Picks for the 2020 NFL Week 10

Written by on November 10, 2020

Moving into Week 10, the NFL still has an unbeaten team, as the Pittsburgh Steelers overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat Dallas and move to 8-0. Tom Brady threw three interceptions in a game for the first time since 2011 as the Buccaneers were routed on Sunday Night Football by the New Orleans Saints, 38-3 — showing there are some flaws still to work out before Tampa Bay takes over in the NFC South. The Minnesota Vikings have found that a run-first approach has rejuvenated their offense, as they now have won two in a row.

Let’s take a look at our straight up NFL betting picks for Week 10.

NFL News:  SU Picks for Week 10

Bye Week: Atlanta, Dallas, Kansas City, N.Y. Jets

Thursday, November 12

Indianapolis (+2.5) at Tennessee (8:20 pm ET, FOX / NFL Network)

Since the beginning of the 2012 campaign, Indianapolis has won 13 of 16 meetings against Tennessee. However, they are just 2-7 straight up in their last nine games on the road and just 3-11 straight up in their last 14 games in prime time. Tennessee is 3-1 straight up in their last four games at home. Titans to win.

Sunday, November 15

Early Games

Houston (+2.5) at Cleveland (FOX)

Houston is 2-0 against Jacksonville this season…and 0-6 against everyone else. Cleveland is wildly inconsistent but has played well at home, except in the maelstrom when they lost to Las Vegas. Browns to win.

Washington (+5.5) at Detroit (FOX)

Washington has lost all four of their games outside the NFC East by an average of 15.8 points. However, Detroit, winners of three games in 2020, has won none of them at home. Lions to win.

Jacksonville (+13.5) at Green Bay (FOX)

Jacksonville beat Indianapolis in Week 1 and has not won since. Green Bay is rolling toward another NFC North title. Packers to win.

Philadelphia (-3) at N.Y. Giants (FOX)

Philadelphia is 10-1 in their last 11 games against the Giants. They beat the G-men at home in Week 5, 22-21. New York is just 3-11 straight up in their last 14 home games…but they almost beat Tampa Bay at home two weeks ago. Giants to win.

Tampa Bay (-4.5) at Carolina (FOX)

Both teams lost last week, but Tampa Bay took the bigger hide-tanning, and in prime time to boot. I see the Bucs making the adjustments to win. Tampa Bay to win.

Late Games

Denver (+4.5) at Las Vegas (CBS)

Las Vegas is slowly coalescing into a contender, while the Broncos are still finding their collective way. Raiders to win.

L.A. Chargers (+3) at Miami (CBS)

The battle of Tua Tagovailoa against Justin Herbert may be the best battle of rookie quarterbacks we see this season. Miami has won four in a row — but the Chargers are 7-2 in their last nine games in the Eastern time zone. Dolphins to win.

Buffalo (+1.5) at Arizona (CBS)

The Bills came out and walloped Seattle last week, using a blitz-heavy approach to bother Russell Wilson all day. Can they use the same approach to contain Kyler Murray? Bills to win.

Seattle (+1.5) at L.A. Rams (FOX)

The Rams have gone 4-1 straight up in their last five games against the Seahawks, taking advantage of the Seattle pass defense and averaging 33.6 points per game over that stretch. Rams to win.

San Francisco (+6.5) at New Orleans (FOX)

The 49ers will still have Nick Mullens at quarterback and still don’t have tight end George Kittle. New Orleans just picked up huge momentum with their rout of the Bucs. Saints to win.

Cincinnati (+9.5) at Pittsburgh (FOX)

Pittsburgh has won 12 of the last 13 meetings between these two teams. Can Joe Burrow go into Heinz Field and deliver what would be a huge upset? I don’t think the Bengals are there quite yet. Steelers to win.

Sunday Night Football

Baltimore (-6.5) at New England (8:20 pm ET, NBC)

Baltimore has gone 10-0 straight up in their last ten contests in which they were favored by at least six points. The Patriots did put together a furious comeback win this past week…against the Jets. Ravens to win.

Monday Night Football

Minnesota (-2.5) at Chicago (8:15 pm ET, ESPN)

Chicago has won four in a row over the Vikings, but the Vikings seem to have found a good thing on offense in wins over Green Bay and Detroit. Vikings to win.
