It’s Super Bowl 51 from NRG Stadium in Houston Texas. The game features the top team from the AFC – the New England Patriots, against the top team from the NFC – the Atlanta Falcons. The game is expected to be a great one, but even more important for many is the prop bets that are available. We want to take some time to look at the Super Bowl prop bets that you can wager on for the national anthem. Let’s take a look at them:

Super Bowl 51 National Anthem Prop Bets

First, before we start giving you the prop bets that are available, it would probably be nice to know who is actually going to sing the anthem. Luke Bryan, country music star is going to sing the song. The best national anthem bet is the over/under for how long the song is performed. Obviously, at the Super Bowl, performers want to drag it out, but Luke does not seem like the type to do it too long. When he did the song at the 2012 All Star Game for Major League Baseball back in 2012, he did it in 2:03. The odds for this season are 2:15. That’s a pretty large difference, which makes us think the UNDER is the way to go here. Sure, he will hold notes a little longer, but the UNDER 2:15 seems like the best bet to make here. Will Luke Bryan omit a word from the national anthem. Again – this is based off the history of Luke Bryan – he does not seem like the type that would do this. Now, certainly it can be done on accident, but taking the NO seems fair. This is a guy that has performed this song about as many times as he has gone bathroom. The NO is the big favorite, but seems to be easy money. Bet the NO with -700 odds. The third bet is — will Luke Bryan be wearing a hat BEFORE he sings the performance? Oh yeah! Luke Bryan is a hat guy. A country singer has to wear a hat. Then, he has to make sure he is shown taking it off as well. The YES he WILL wear a hat is listed at -120, while the NO he will NOT be wearing a hat is also at -120. You make your own choice here – but does a country singer in Houston seem like he would NOT have a hat on? Finally – the national anthem prop for Luke Bryan that has to do with his clothing choice involves – WILL Luke Bryan be wearing blue jeans or something other than blue jeans? Of course, this is another one that seems like a pretty easy choice. A country singer is blue jeans? Yep. The YES is -200, while other pants or shorts is listed at +150. Sure, it’s the favorite, but you got to take YES he will be wearing blue jeans for Super Bowl 51. There is a good look at some of our favorite Super Bowl 51 prop bets for the national anthem. We hope you enjoy the game, and also do not miss the national anthem. Best of luck with all your prop and game bets for Super Bowl 51!
