Top NFL Week 4 Odds, Picks & Predictions

Week 4 in the NFL’s season marks the quarter-pole of the long campaign; as the games come to an end, some teams will have a strong start toward a postseason berth, while others may already be considering shifting their eyes toward the 2018 season. Let’s take a look at some NFL Week 4 betting suggestions for the upcoming 2017 regular season.

Top NFL Week 4 Odds, Picks & Predictions

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

When: Thursday, September 28th. 1pm ET Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay TV: CBS / NFL Network Radio: 105.9 FM (Chicago) / WTMJ-AM 620 (Green Bay) Live StreamNFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Packers -9.5 Let’s see — we have a Chicago Bears team that will either still be led by free-agent signing Mike Glennon, unless rookie Mitch Trubisky has already been handed the reins of the offense. Their defense is still young — and they will face a Green Bay team that should still have a better offensive line than they did last year. The Packers’ weakness is their secondary, but they have a good enough pass rush to keep either Glennon or Trubisky in check. Also, Aaron Rodgers should be able to find enough holes in the Bears’ secondary to lead the Pack to a double-digit win — and a cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

When: Sunday, October 1st. 1pm ET Where: M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore TV: CBS Radio: 970 AM ESPN (Pittsburgh) / WBAL News Radio 1090 (Baltimore) Live Stream: NFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Steelers -1.5 The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a couple of down seasons — one featuring the season- ending injury to quarterback Joe Flacco, and the next featuring his recovery, which featured a great deal of indecision on his part. The Ravens have bolstered their receiving corps and their offensive line, and their defense remains stout. I like the Ravens turning the tables on the Steelers and pulling off this home win.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns

When: Sunday, October 1st. 1pm ET Where: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland TV: CBS Radio:  WEBN/Cincinnati 102.7 FM (Cincinnati) / WKRK-FM 92.3 FM (Cleveland) Live Stream: NFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Bengals -3.5 The Bengals come into 2017 in a great deal of disarray, as their key parts are a year older after a lost season, and the team has done nothing to address this on either side of the line. They face a Cleveland team that will be very young, thanks to their multiple draft picks, and either Cody Kessler or rookie DeShone Kizer will lead the offense. I like the energy that the young Browns will bring under head coach Hue Jackson, and I see Cleveland winning this one. The Texans are betting favorites against the Titans in NFL Week 4.

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

When: Sunday, October 1st. 1pm ET Where: NRG Stadium, Houston TV: CBS Radio: WGFX FM 104.5 (Tennessee) / KILT-FM 100.3 (Houston) Live Stream: NFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Texans -3 Houston’s defense will be better than Tennessee’s — but the Titans’ offense will likely be better than Houston’s. Marcus Mariota and DeMarco Murray make a better offensive tandem than either Tom Savage or Deshaun Watson and Lamar Miller. Can the Texans (led by a resurgent  J.J. Watt) keep the Titans in check? Or will Tennessee make a statement win in the AFCSouth? I like the Titans to go down to Houston and take a big win.

L.A. Rams at Dallas Cowboys

When: Sunday, October 1st. 1pm ET Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington TV: FOX Radio: ESPNLA 710AM (LA) / 105.3 The FAN (Dallas) Live Stream: NFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Cowboys -12.5 Jared Goff will take on Dak Prescott in a battle of second-year quarterbacks. While Prescott led the Dallas Cowboys to a 13-3 record last year and an NFC East title, Goff spent his rookie season waiting on the bench behind Case Keenum and then running for his life behind a porous Rams offensive line. The Dallas defense has some real flaws, particularly in the secondary, but I see them controlling the tandem of Goff and Todd Gurley, and I also see the Cowboys’ offensive line wearing down the Rams’ defense and guiding the Cowboys to an emphatic win — and cover.

Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

When: Sunday, October 1st. 4:25pm ET Where: Sports Authority Field, Denver TV: CBS Radio: 95.7 The GAME  (Oakland) / 94.1 FM (Denver) Live Stream: NFL Game Pass NFL Week 4 Odds: Broncos -2 The Raiders would have won the AFC West last year if Derek Carr had not gone down to injury with two games left to go. They take on a Broncos team that has a stout defense (particularly in the pass rush) but not a lot on the offensive side of the ball. The addition of Marshawn Lynch to the Raiders’ offense gives them a dimension that they did not have a year ago — and takes some of the pressure off Carr. I like the Raiders to make a significant AFC West statement in their win over Denver.
